Luxury Grief is a curated descent into the glamorized rot beneath elegance a melodic bass & alt-electronic album that stitches trauma into high fashion. Every track explores the performance of composure while breaking quietly beneath it. Orchestrated like a funeral with a dress code, it's grief with glitter, collapse in velvet, and scars polished for the showroom floor.

From the porcelain ache of "Bleed Beautiful” to the flickering hope in "Like We Never Left”, this album balances between restraint and eruption  cinematic, visceral, and uncomfortably intimate. The production (by Anissia, Nixote) blends melodic dubstep, trap, ambient textures, and glitch-heavy detail. Think: emotion sharpened into weaponry, beats that bruise soft, vocals like broken lullabies.

Como dúo post-pop de género fluido, Laikka disfruta romper con las convenciones de la música pop electrónica contemporánea. Su música es salvaje y llena de energía, combinando lo experimental con el pop, el gran drama y lo pegajoso. Las presentaciones en vivo del dúo son especialmente impresionantes. Su tercer álbum "I close my eyes, tomorrow" —con evento de lanzamiento en el Flex de Viena— les trajo reconocimiento tanto en la escena local como internacional, y fue nominado al Amadeus Austrian Music Award. En 2025, pasaron a formar parte del programa SHAPE+.
Además de su música, el trabajo artístico de Laikka también trata sobre el cambio: la visibilización de la cultura (de género) queer y la representación FLINTA en la escena musical.

As a genre-fluid post-pop duo, Laikka loves to break with the conventions of contemporary electronic pop music.
