Hice una sesión diferente, una sesión que me apetecía para esa noche para bailarla me la entera, olvidar un poco la mente y entrar en mi cuerpo, un viaje.... as usual.... with love.

So gals, for anyone who hasn’t visibly or audibly understood already, 2023 was not my year.

Several of my closest relationships changed in ways I desperately resisted and tried to control;  and in doing so, broke myself, my heart, and the depth of those connections.

It’s not all bad though, those relationships will mend, and these immense mistakes and overwhelming heartbreak on my part have also led to incredible healing and self love.

Some of these healing practices include:

 a threesome on new years 
- followed by - 
45 minutes of uncontrollable sobbing, alone, in the lab dark room while having to LITERALLY SWAT AWAY emotionally uninterested hands
- to then -
being fully and lovingly held by old and new friends and lovers @robert and @mohi @vinzenz

Another is (again) sobbing while listening to Deepak Chopras 7 spiritual pillars of success ❤️‍🩹 followed by railing my brains out with my favorite dildo “Her” and closing the ceremony with a 30 minute meditation.

Both are highly recommended; my self help book “healing from the inside“ will be launched in 2025 (should I?!??)

It’s incredible how being held by others and yourself in such vulnerable states can have such a stunning vibrational shift.

So, here’s a mix that somehow captures the immensity of heartbreak, longing for both what was and what could be, healing shame, hilarious drama, undying love, and the endlessly rediscovered joy for life that is my current and somewhat omnipresent self; desperately holding onto and actively letting go of - everything - with overwhelming emotion, trust, fear, and gratitude.

What’s a need? When do you know if that’s just ego avoiding insecurity?

My connection with music is deeply personal. Music has been with me since childhood, before I began studying instruments and composition. It's evolved into something akin to a diary, a collection of records and artists that resonate with my musical ideas and path.

In the past, my biggest challenge was getting comfortable with the audience and getting people to move. Over the past two years, I've become more drawn to fast-paced and vibrant styles. This shift allows me to freely blend elements from different genres, always with an experimental twist that still works on the dance floor.

I only play music that evokes a certain feeling in me. Mixing isn't just about creating smooth transitions; for me, it's more about how the sound elements and rhythms interact between two or three different tracks. The atmosphere of a track is my main focus, both in production and selection. These are all the elements that make up the "back" of the track – drones, noises, and anything that doesn't strictly follow a rhythm.

This concept of sound design and mixing technique is what I especially want to share with my part of this podcast series.

Bihotza empieza a hacer sesiones en el año 2005 en las noches madrileñas de Malasaña, con el objetivo de crear un diálogo con la pista, percibir su energía y promover los valores que se generan en la comunidad del club y la electrónica, a través de la “electrónica social”. Resaltando la elegancia de su selección y el viaje  al que transporta a los asistentes a sus sesiones.
Su estilo va desde darkwave, chung, minimal, rave, slow techno, sheffield… Sonidos oscuros, contundentes, directo a la pista, las baterías y las líneas de bajos están presentes en su selección. En la actualidad es residente de la sala Jimmy Jazz en Gasteiz con HEARTz Club y del club Bilbaíno Random Apocalypse. Es habitual en la programación de clubbing del Euskal Herria, en la escena madrileña y en Francia desde las ondas, creando puentes entre diferentes escenas y colectivos.
Bihotza da vida a HEARTz, proyecto en el cual están Club, Family y Radio, desarrollando el concepto de “electrónica social” desde diferentes espacios y acciones, trabaja promoviendo los valores en los cree, de igualdad, visibilización, integración y respeto, dando valor a la electrónica dentro de la cultura.

Roteker is a techno musician and video artist originally from Western Siberia, currently based in Belgrade. 
Starting his solo career in 2016 as a lo-fi musician under the name Marshall Fishwick. In 2020 he evolved the sound to a lot darker and heavier techno while keeping in reflection his unique melancholic atmosphere and deliberately overloaded nature.
