Paperfunk Recordings is an independent drum & bass label focused on dark, technological and emotionally dense sound. Since its foundation, the project has been building its own territory within the scene, bringing together artists for whom character, concept and refined sound design truly matter.

The aesthetic of Paperfunk is rooted in cold futurism, industrial mechanics and internal tension. The label’s releases combine aggression and depth, heavy bass textures and cinematic atmosphere. It is the sound of night cities, metal and science fiction — music with pressure, scale and a clearly defined mood.

The label’s sonic identity is formed at the intersection of techstep and neurofunk: hard-hitting drums, viscous sub-lines, highly detailed FX and microscopic attention to the mix. A dedicated branch of the project is PPRFNK Tech — a line of in-house audio plugins and production tools.
