Brooklyn's own Ky William, the mastermind behind Andhera Records, is no stranger to the decks. Carving his niche with a sound rooted in the hip-hop vibes of his native scene, he's unleashed bangers on labels like Knee Deep In Sound and Solid Grooves. With over a million streams and Beatport Top 10 hits, Ky's tracks are certified floor-filler material. And now, he's locked arms with the rising US maverick Nate Katz for a collab that’s about to turn heads and move feet.

Let’s break it down. Title track ‘Funkay’ is a heady mix of pounding drums and slick bars that drop like a stone through treacle. Grinding chords and prickly percussion drive the groove, layered with neon pads and retro stabs. It's a peak-time banger that’s bound to twist the crowd into knots. I always found my home in art; be it visual art OR music.
After working in art, writing & dJing for years, now I'm concentrating on creating my music.
Like all my art, my songs come from my inner world, from within; they are the outlet for my memories, thoughts and feelings. They are my passion and therapy wrapped together. 
My creative process-  I write my own lyrics,  I come up with the idea and directions for the music and then I produce the songs using an AI tool for the first draft, on which later I, myself, work  in a sound editing program until I get the final track, that I'm happy with.  
I look at AI as a tool of the trade. Technology can be a great tool, if you use it as such,  you just have to be careful not to let it control your process and results
