Title: WHATSOEVER HE SAITH UNTO YOU, DO IT

Scripture: 1 Samuel 15:22; John 2:5

Sermon Points:
-	God says to obey is better than sacrifice.
-	There is no more important word to God’s children than Obedience.
-	1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
-	There are so many children of God that fail to follow the leaders God has put in their live; therefore, they are disobedient and don’t even realize it.
-	1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
-	Exodus 4:15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
-	Exodus 4:16 And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.
-	Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
-	Obedience is a tremendous word! Obedience is what will carry you and I to success in any area of life.
01.	Obedience is the distinguishing mark of how spiritual we are.
-	Obedience is the biggest proof of your love for Jesus Christ.
-	John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
02.	Obedience will cause you to be blessed.
-	Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
-	Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
-	Deuteronomy 28:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
-	James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
-	Proverbs 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
-	Proverbs 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
-	Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
-	Luke 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
-	Luke 2:50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
-	Luke 2:51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
-	Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
03.	It’s impossible to be a good Christian without being Obedient.
-	You might be the best soul winner in the church or a great singer or piano player, but if you’re disobedient to your parents, you are a loser and not right with Jesus!
-	A child obeys God by obeying Mom and Dad.
-	A student obeys God by obeying their teacher
-	A church member obeys God by obeying their pastor
-	A citizen obeys God by obeying the police
-	A laborer obeys God by obeying his foreman
-	Of course, all this is dependent upon it being within the principle of “in the Lord,” or our leaders following Jesus.
-	All of us must arrive at the place in our lives where we say it’s not what we want but what he wants, and it’s nowhere we want to be, but where he wants us to be!
