"Pug Man" is a slinky, bass-heavy groove with a swaggering attitude. Off-kilter funk rhythms drive the track, layered with choppy, snarling guitar licks and jittery drum fills. The vocals shift between raspy storytelling and deranged, bark-like yelps. A creeping, spoken-word breakdown adds a grimy, back-alley menace before the final chorus explodes into chaotic, syncopated madness. Think Primus meets Tom Waits in a smoky dive bar, with a dash of absurdity and canine rebellion.
