London techno label 199 reconnects with its Yorkshire roots on the long-awaited return to the ‘Exchange’ release series. The latest offering comes courtesy of Redshift, a producer based between Leeds and Marseille, known for crafting delicate yet powerful club tracks. 

Liquid Oscillators is driven, atmospheric and weighty, with cascades of delay-drenched synth shots shimmering over an unrelenting sub; while Bad Things is a sparse, swung groover that bounces forward courtesy of a plucky acid bassline.

Anjawah moved to Berlin in 2018, after spending over a decade in the New York club scene. From her beloved, formative nights at Sullivan Room, followed by afters at Greenhouse (formally The Shelter) or underground warehouse parties, New York City has been at the root of Anjawah’s love for house and electronic music. As well, frequent trips to Chicago, Detroit and Europe over the years bred her musical taste, which is eclectic and dance floor focused. She brings a diverse range to her upbeat DJ sets by mixing classic and deep house with acid and progressive sounds. Now, Anjawah is steadily recording guest mixes and her own "4th Floor Sessions", and she has played in various Berlin clubs including Paloma, Renate and Sisyphos.
