Heartbeat echoes in the helmet glass,
Oxygen’s a whisper fading fast.
Ship’s a dying star behind my eyes,
Static is the last voice in the sky.
I reach for the cord but the cord’s not there—
Just the endless dark and the frozen air.
No rescue beacon, no angels cry,
Just a man in the black waiting to die.

Never again to see the human race.
Drifting through the void so far from home,
Wrapped in the silence, dying all alone.

Earth is just a memory burning blue,
A ghost of a life I once clung to.
Stars around me flicker like they know
This is the final place I’ll ever go.
I scream but the vacuum swallows sound,
No gravity left to pull me down.
Every breath I take cuts like a knife—
Counting the seconds left of my life.

Carrion Comfort

I make music for myself and to let out some of the weird thoughts in my head. I love Progressive Metal, Djent, and Ambient music. I try my best not to write horror themed stuff, but it all is in some way. Either actual or existential.

Shatter The Matrix is one of the projects of composer Phil Justin, mostly high octane electronica music pulling from Goa trance, psytrance, world music, metal, funk, industrial, EDM, jazz as well as a ton of cinematic and orchestral colors. No real way to describe it except influences draw all the way from Infected Mushroom, Shpongle and Juno Reactor to John Williams, Danny Elfman and Bjork. With everything in between. Always a fun ride if you like busy and colorful music. Enjoy!!!
