On a balmy evening last December, a little crew by the name of Contact threw a little hoorah to remain in our memories for a long time. 500+ people descended upon a little DIY space in Marrickville to conjure magic, and sorcery was indeed created. Between pounding mind tingling trance, bass music that created an involuntary groove, minimal yet infectious tech house that kept us moving into the sunrise, and finally an afternoon of delightful jazz for one final aural massage.

Panoply by Contact was run to represent a little bit of all the things we as a crew love about Sydney's incredibly eclectic dance music scene.

This recording is a little snippet of myself closing out the main stage in the wee hours of Sunday morning, following one of the craziest live set's we had ever laid our ears upon by @vardaemusic

I really wanted to step things back, yet push even further into psychedelia, weird sounds, and infectious ear worms. Tears were shed, friends hugged, and permanent memories made. I personally, will never be able to forget this night.

Leonardo Netzel started his project Neit-8 on November, 2017 in Progressive Dark. Improving his studies, he started his music production course in 2018 at Mixsa Acessoria e Comunicação in Curitiba. A member of the Psycoative Records label, Neit-8 comes with strength and promises to leave a lively track with its melodic grooves and aggressive Darks.

Ms Eclectic SHARKRA, a passionate and talented DJ, embarked on her journey driven by a quest for peace through music. Breaking free from genre constraints, she honed her skills and made a powerful debut at Ignition Festival 2019. Her success as a DJ quickly grew, allowing her to play at some of Aotearoa's top festivals, including Splore, AUM, Dimension, and Shipwrecked. Her influence extended beyond New Zealand, as she also graced events from across Australia and Fiji to South East Asia, South America & Europe.

Joining DoubSquare Records in late 2022 and Ovnimoon Records in early 2023, Sharkra's artistry evolved, leading to a Compilation album release. Beyond her musical achievements, she treasures the connections made during her travels. Each encounter serves as a life lesson, teaching her more about the industry and how like-minded individuals express their artistry.

Sharkra's impact is in her genre-defying sets that influence perspectives and captivate crowds. Her powerful and eclectic sound has helped shape Aotearoa's electronica golden era. With her soul pouring through the speakers, she converts non-believers on the dance floor, inspiring music lovers worldwide through her unwavering dedication to her craft.
