🇬🇧 Rodolfo Carvalho is the name behind Arcanne.

Italo-Brazilian with nearly two decades of experience as a DJ and multi-instrumentalist musician, and after achieving significant success as a member of major projects—amassing thousands of fans across Brazil and millions of streams on digital platforms—Rodolfo decided to take on a new challenge: this time, as a solo artist.

Unconfined by musical genres, his productions range from psy-trance to techno, incorporating elements of pop culture, from video games to classic films. He is known for hits like "Agora," "Joker," and "Most Wanted", as well as famous remixes of "Bloody Mary" (Lady Gaga), "A Queda" (Glória Groove), and "Pompeii" (Bastille). With millions of streams on major music platforms, his tracks are frequently featured in the sets of top names in the scene, with his music released by major international labels. Additionally, his performances, distinguished by creative mixing techniques, blend his sound with elements from other musical genres such as EDM and rock. This unique approach has led Arcanne to deliver memorable shows worldwide, including at massive events like Universo Paralello (Pratigi, Brazil), Club A (São Paulo, Brazil), Techno Den (Dublin, Ireland), and Diceys Garden (Dublin, Ireland).

In 2024, Arcanne conceived and produced his first album, titled Parallax, released in September of that year. This album marks a significant milestone in his career, featuring tracks that tell a story and traverse the various musical styles he has explored throughout his journey as a producer, drawing on all the influences that have shaped his work to date.

Arcanne holds a degree in electronic music production from Anhembi-Morumbi University, earned in 2014, and has further specialized in the field through various online and in-person courses related to all kinds of music. He is also a bilingual DJ and music production instructor, with a track record that includes hundreds of students worldwide, workshops conducted (including at Sennheiser Brazil and Conecta+ Música e Mercado), and tip videos posted on various DJ-related platforms, including Pioneer DJ Brazil.

He enters the world of the music in the 1977 to only 14 years, preparing the playlists for the Djs of the first private Italian radio.

But that place he doesn't like, he begins to take an interest from immediately to the art of the Djing and under the guide of the his first teacher; CLAUDIO CATALDI he learns the first techniques, he specializes in succession "stealing with the eyes" to a dj still today active and much appreciated in Italy and Europe; MARCO TRANI, he to him owes in fact recognize the musical acquired style.

December 31 1979 he starts his job in disco, he works like dj until at 1989  and he in the meantime begins to explore the world of recording studios, the period of learning endures up to at 1986, in that year, he establishes together to any Romans musicians the Universe [recording] with this label produces the his first entitled record TEC-NO-LIMITED- AREA, followed from EVERYBODY realized for Musica Studio Watt of Rome, subsequently he participates to the realization of the [compilation] FELLINIANA, dedicated to the Grand master Federico Fellini in occasion of delivery of the oscar and licensed to the Flying records.

In the summer 1993 is busy as co-producer of the single  licensed to Cutting records  LAURA O' & THE HEARTBEAT LINE  "RHYTHM", 80.000 copies sold in the United States and various licenses in Europe, radio passages , Guests to the Midem, a beautiful age but the artists are independent and so in the 1995, Massimo founds his label of production: Eclypserecords.

He from that moment could dedicate his time to the music electronics, own at that time, a new musical kind is taking the place of the House music in Europe, he is known as "Progressive" and Massimo, spellbound from those sonority, he devotes itself completely to the new kind, he since then follows the evolution of it trying to offer the public his products that also being in the range dictated from the tendence they could contain appear melodic personal, for him the music is not an opportunity for take money but one instrument for give serenity to the people and at last from years works with this philosophy.

The encounters with Jamaster An it is thing of our days, they are known through my space exchanging friendship they then lose themselves of sight, they find on face book any time after, Jamaster proposes a his production of remixed "Gill X William" In the scene and Massimo he accepts, he realizes his remix and it to Jamaster likes, the proposal of  remixed Bells of Tiananmen comes immediately after, it is a beautiful challenge, a track acknowledged from all like the Trance anthem and already remixed from big producers………..there will be much to work but Massimo, he has 30 years of experience by now, he thinks about can give something to a track again already so so much remixed and he accepts this challenge also,  his version of Bells of Tiananmen likes and enters to be a part of the project Bells of Tiananmen 2.01 to gone out in September 2010 on the label 2 Play (Spinning records).


I am a Psytrance, Progressive Trance and Techno/Psytech Dj with many years experience, cutting my teeth on the dance floors of the underground Psytrance scene in London.  I'm now based in Bristol and a resident of Trancemission on Slice Audio, a weekly radio show broadcasting every Wednesday from 8pm.  Vinyl records, of which I have a large collection of 90's psy and tech trance, are a passion of mine which I play on Trancemission.
