Det är 50 år sedan FN höll sin första miljökonferens och miljörörelsen samlas åter i Stockholm. I två avsnitt kommer vi återbesöka den moderna miljörörelsens uppkomst i Sverige 1972. I första avsnittet gästar Lars Gogman från Arbetarrörelsens arkiv. Vad var det som hände när Skarpnäcksfältet invaderades av hippies från amerikanska Hog Farm, som hade skött säkerheten på Woodstockfestivalen. Var det ett eget Woodstockholm eller bara en fälla från CIA för att hålla alternativrörelsen borta från toppmötet? Hur kan vi använda Mark Fischers teori om en acid communism på denna motkulturella "andra" alternativrörelse, som bojkottades av den samlade svenska vänstern.

When asked, it is rather likely that all of us are able to tell which emotional state we are in at that moment. But what does it mean? Where do emotions originate and how do they impact our daily life?

Emotions = Feelings?
For most people feelings and emotions are very much the same. Naturally, we would perceive them as synonyms; two words with the same meaning. However, even though they are dependent on each other, emotions and feelings are rather different things.

Emotions describe physiological states and are generated subconsciously. Usually, they are autonomous bodily responses to certain external or internal events. By contrast, feelings are subjective experiences of emotions and are driven by conscious thoughts and reflections. This means that we can have emotions without having feelings, however, we simply cannot have feelings without having emotions.

Jacques van der Westhuizen "Troglodyte” has been spinning vinyl for around 22 years and started at the age of 21. Troglodyte was born in the in South Africa, where he attended Point Blank Music College in Shoreditch Park, Shoreditch. Although the name of his alter ego “Troglodyte” refers to a caveman you can be assured that his music is definitely not prehistoric, his tunes it is guaranteed that he will go tribal on you.
