The album explores aspects of the human condition and mental tendencies. Perspectives are often shifted within songs, jumping from rage to fear to sociopolitical statements and the confusion they cause. This is reflected in the music, which plays with time signatures, song structure and a variety of musical influences, creating a truly unique sound - unmistakably heavy and angry, yet refreshingly different and unpredictable.

Someshit I did fucking around with the midi editor one day, if you wonder why the song is called this, it is because I made the rythym by turning the morse code for "I Like Femboys" into an actual rythym. That's one of the strategies I use to try to get kind of a prog-ish djent-ish meshuggah-ish rythym on a basic level and I just couldn't think of anything else to put on the morse translator. Not like the title ain't true tho, tbh.

WISHMASTER
Formé en 2007, ce groupe de metal symphonique et progressif se distingue par son travail de mise en scène sonore: chaque morceau se veut le chapitre d'une épopée inspirée de mythologies, de légendes ou de contes fantastiques.

ANITA FINNEGAN
Elle incarne le versant brut et émotionnel de Wishmaster. Sa voix, tour à tour puissante et vulnérable, est capable de transmettre l'urgence d'une bataille ou la détresse d'un personnage en quête de rédemption.
Parallèlement à ses activités avec Wishmaster, Anita développe une carrière solo où elle explore une facette plus intimiste et personnelle de son univers musical, mêlant folk, pop, rock, metal ou dark ambient.

CASSANDRE (DESROSIERS)
Soprano accomplie, elle apporte à Wishmaster une dimension éthérée et aérienne. Sa maîtrise des registres élevés crée des harmonies lumineuses en contraste avec les riffs métalliques, renforçant l'impact dramatique et la profondeur narrative des compositions.
Sous le nom de scène CASSANDRE, elle se lance à son tour en solo: son premier single est annoncé pour très bientôt, promettant de prolonger l'esthétique sombre et poétique qu'on lui connaît au sein du groupe.

Eight Lives Down's progressive take on extreme metal has deep roots in thrash metal but constantly branches out stylistically, incorporating influences from death-, and black metal, as well as various other musical genres such as punk, blues, and traditional folk music. The vocals range from low growls and high screams to clean and even operatic phrases. All of this creates a truly unique sound - unmistakably heavy and angry, yet refreshingly different and unpredictable as the band plays with time signatures and song structure. Fittingly, Eight Lives Down’s members are a motley crew of different nationalities, hailing from Greece, New Zealand, France, and Poland. They are currently based in Croatia, Spain, and the UK.
