This is the longest set I've ever recorded, and I'm pretty proud that I was able to produce something this long with minimal mistakes. It's super vibey and atmospheric. I would love to perform this again at a renegade during sunset. 

There are definitely some good dance moments in this mix, but it's a lot more IDM and chill. It also crosses many genres as well.

I'm excited to share the live recording from Elipamanoke in Leipzig, captured during my set downstairs from 2:45 to 4:30 AM. It was absolute madness! Huge thanks to @leider9 , especially @moritz_sachse and @evaversohler  ❤️.
I hesitated to upload this set because it's not the usual BPM I play, but I've started embracing it again—just like when I first began DJing. Why not, right? I feel like playing whatever I'm into at the moment. But at the end, it's the same music, just not pitched down, which actually makes it easier to Shazam! :DD

Unfortunately, the night wasn’t all perfect. During my second-to-last track, someone from the crowd came up and pulled out my USB stick, thinking my set was over. I was so stunned that the exit loop (shoutout to Pioneer) ran for five minutes before I played my final track, which you cannot listen to, because it would be a mess. I didn’t really want to mention that part, but it happened. 

Despite that hiccup, this gig was one of my favorites recently. And once again, the "Melaunian phenomenon" was in full effect. Big hugs to Melaune!

✰ Der Ausdruck Laune (von lateinisch „luna“ - Mond) bezeichnet ursprünglich eine vermeintlich vom Mondwechsel ausgehende Einflussnahme auf den Menschen. Man erklärte mit dieser phasenbedingten Wandelhaftigkeit des Mondes seit dem Altertum einen merklichen oder plötzlichen Stimmungsumschwung. Auch Musik kann ähnliche Auswirkungen auf das Wohlgemüt der Menschen haben, wie sie schon dem Mond zugeschrieben wurde. Musik kann nicht nur einen elysischen Rausch erzeugen, die Magie dieser kann eine komplette Tanzfläche in einen Ort voller Energie und überschäumender Emotionen verwandeln.
Wenn all das zusammenkommt und im Einklang ist, die Musik die Tänzer*innen treibt und die Laune ins Unermessliche steigt, spricht man von dem melaunischen Phänomen. ✰
