Although originally included in METROID PRIME, released for the Gamecube in 2002, I first heard this eerie track on SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL, six years after the former game came out.  

Ever since, I've looked for a suitable remix to no avail.  For those reasons, this was one of the first songs I wanted to remix after I got a grasp on FL Studio.

Got the urge to remix this dance music classic.  

Of course, since there are already a lot of Trance & Progressive remixes of this single off BT's 1997 sophomore album, ESCM, I decided to do something a bit different.

The use of sounds inspired by music from the 1980s have been quite common place in music today, resulting in genres like synthwave & vaporwave.  

During my adventures in FL Studio, I started experimenting with what I like to call ProgWave (portmanteau of Progressive House & Synthwave).  Basically, what progressive house would sound like if it extended in the 1980s.  I wondered, what would Flaming June sound like if it came out in the 80s instead of the 90s?  This remix, which you can download FOR FREE, aims to explore this.

This is an epic multi-layered, multi-part musing on the topic of walking on pins and needles. BSG stands for "Bat Shit Girl" But who is "Bat Shit Girl?" You? Me? Someone I used to work with? D.) All of the above? Remember Nadine from Twin Peaks"? The one with the eye patch? Ed never had any idea what he was walking into with her. Same thing here!

This song has many hooks. Guitars chug in all of its corners. You stand accused by choruses everywhere. Chimes hit you over the head and the sitar greases the rails like how the cotton balls ease Nadine's noisy curtain rods! You'll be exhausted afterwards, I hope!

Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar is no unknown track to many electronic music fans.  

Originally released in 1993 & Inspired by the popular cafe of the same name in Ibiza, Spain, this Trance classic is notable for the numerous remixes it has gotten over the years, some of which coming from artists like Marco V, John 00 Fleming & Deadmau5 to name a few.  If I were to guess, I'd say there have to be no less than 50 different OFFICIAL remixes in existence (and this is before unofficial/bootleg mixes are considered)!

Since there are already numerous Trance & Progressive mixes of this classic, I decided to do something different.  Somewhat with a Miami Vice retro vibe.

What if Cafe Del Mar was influenced by South Beach & made in the '80s?  This strives to give an idea.

About  'The Electric Halloween Haunt Experience':
A dream 10 years in the making — Ever since I started making music as Europaweite Aussichten, it has always been a dream of mine to produce a real Halloween album. Even though we don't traditionally celebrate Halloween over here in Germany, I've been completely sucked into that pop-cultural vortex emanating from the US. Mainly due to a number of TV specials and horror film marathons that were broadcast on television over here in October. Halloween and the whole fall season is my favorite time of the year. So a Halloween album was inevitable. It just had to be the right time.

The challenge is that you can only release a Halloween album in October. But inspiration often doesn't kick in until September. So I missed the right time frame for years and years. There have been a few Halloween-related releases from me, like the 'Halloween Jams' EP, which compiled the individual Halloween tracks I've produced over the years. But what I wanted was much bigger. The plan was to create a big, crazy concept album that unites all aspects and everything that is great about this very special day. One you can play throughout the entire October. And I think with 'The Electric Halloween Haunt Experience' I've achieved that.

Look forward to a whole bunch of eerie synthesizer music with groovy surf rock guitars, lots of sound experiments and plenty of atmosphere!
I can't wait to share the album with you.

I was debating on whether or not to remix the Classic that got me into EDM, System F - Out of The Blue.  

Obviously, this is a major anthem.  But DJ Hey gave me the motivation.

There are already a number of Trance & Progressive remixes of this classic out there, some of them coming from Giuseppe Ottaviani, Mauro Picotto and, more recently, ilan Bluestone and Matt Fax to name a few, so I decided to do something a bit different.

In addition to Trance & House, I've also been experimenting with a style I call "ProgWave" (a combination of Progressive House & Retro Synthwave).

Out of the Blue came out in the 90s but what if it was made....in the 80s?  I strive to give a rough idea here.  FREE DOWNLOAD.  Enjoy.

I was born in 1989, so this track uses a lot of sounds that were prevalent in songs of the '80s, as well as 8-bit video game sounds, since this was also the decade that the Nintendo Entertainment System (known as the Famicom in Japan) was released.

When I first started using FL Studio, in addition to the usual Trance & Progressive House I am known for, I've also experimented with a style I call "ProgWave", a portmanteau of Progressive House & Synthwave. 

I've done remixes of many trance classics and more in this style.  It's been a while since my most recent, however.

1998 is a classic that should be no stranger to lovers of Electronic Music.  Like Cafe Del Mar & Age Of Love, it has withstood the test of time through various remixes over the years, including some by the likes Paul van Dyk, Ronski Speed, Alex M.O.R.P.H. & more.

It came out originally in its namesake year, but I've wondered.....What would 1998 sound like if it came out in 1988?  This remix strives to paint an idea.

Nice to meet you. My name is Randy Derricott, an Autistic EDM DJ/producer & Pharmacy Tech based in Coral Springs, Florida (a suburb of Fort Lauderdale) by way of Richmond, Virginia.

Active since 2004, I mainly make & play Trance & Progressive House.  I also sometimes let my nerdy side show by playing what I call "Comicontronica" or EDM remixes/covers of songs from video games, anime & the like.

My adventures have had me perform at a number of venues throughout South Florida as well as some of the biggest conventions in the US, among which include Anime Iwai, Otakufest, MegaCon, Kirbiicon, Colossalcon Ohio & Ichibancon in North Carolina.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I put making music on the backburner to focus on my DJing adventures, both on Twitch and, once things eased, live shows.  I've recently decided to jump back into the music making pool again.  While I do have a Soundcloud with music I made under a past alias, I've decided to make a brand new Soundcloud, since I'll be using my real name going forward.

When you fill a glass full enough, the contents will inevitably spill out somewhere. This is how the Budapest based Spiritual Neurosis came to be, the synth-prog-tribal-metalwave, experimental lofi techno melancholic duo with dubstep elements and a bunch of vocals. For easier understanding, lets just call them progwave. Szabi and Laci collectively has 30 plus years of music and stage experience, which they would hide with the finesse of an expert spy. They both started their carriers as metal musicians, however in the last ten years they have been heavily influenced by the new wave of music just like Igorrr and Carpenter Brut with an addition of a colorful bouquet of different electronic songs. Their lyrics are mostly about the hardships of being a thirty-something year old and the way one could heal themselves from all the additional trauma that comes from being a human. I would suggest a taste, it is quite delicious.

We inhabit a space somewhere on the outskirts of avant-jazz and punk rock, Dogs h8 Rats are genre defying, and full of surprises. The music is born of improvisational performances so with a little luck you'll catch the "mistakes and imperfections" now and then, or as Miles Davis once said "Don't fear mistakes, there are none" and that ethos is in clear evidence within the music of Dh8R's. The core of Dh8R's is made up of Douglas Wilkerson and Michael Grimes who collaborate with friends old and new."
