Rezoning is often met with community resistance, yet Mieke notes it remains one of the most effective long-term solutions for increasing supply.
Another growing trend discussed is the rise of multi-generational living. With families pooling resources and sharing household expenses, this option can offer both financial and lifestyle benefits. But Mieke stresses the need for clear legal agreements, particularly when contributions are made toward renovations or granny flats.
