Nico Cabañas, a.k.a SYNTHS VERSUS ME, could be surely considered a pioneer of the electronic alternative scene in north-west of Spain, buying vinyl records and playing as DJ since 1989.

Back in 1995, he’ve opened his first records and clubbing clothing store, ELEKTRO ILLUSION, combining it with DJ residences at several iconic clubs in the north of Catalonia. In 2014, along with his wife Vanessa (R.I.P), they started their own musical band project under
SYNTHS VERSUS ME alias, achieving an instant international success and being the founding motivation of ORACULO RECORDS, widely
considered as one of the world’s most influential vinyl labels speaking of nowadays darkwave, synthwave, post-punk and ebm, with over 100
releases, extremely desired by vinyl collectors.

As SYNTHS VERSUS ME he released 4 albums and 5 EP’s and he’ve collaborated and co-released/ remixed/versioned material with artists such as BOY HARSHER, THE NEON JUDGEMENT, ABSOLUTE BODY CONTROL, BLIND DELON, WIND ATLAS or GARY NUMAN.

In 2018, he’ve founded OMBRA FESTIVAL with his partner Raul Gayo, where they present one of the best dark electronic shows of the entire world.

Where Psycho Thrill Cologne still belongs 2: House, Garage, Acid House, Hip-House, Industrial, classic Electro, early Detroit Techno / Techno Underground without any compromise.

The RAVE CLUB Cologne opened up its doors in the basement of the property Hohenzollernring 92 [facing former MOROCO] in May of 1988 and managed to immediately gain an enthusiastic attention as a fresh and vibrant club institution in the Dome metro area – at chronological eye level with FRONT and OPERA HOUSE/GRÜNSPAN in Hamburg and even before Berlin’s UFO club or Frankfurt’s OMEN – not only in Western Germany, but also directly on a European scale, for example through great features like FACE and I-D, through its clearly defined and high-quality sound program strictly separated by events and last but not least through its artist gigs [e.g. Adeva, Marshall Jefferson, Kym Mazelle, Todd Terry, EPMD…] and the resident jocks. There were club nights like “BANGO!” for the first time, which were dedicated solely and consequently to House, Acid and early Techno.

i found this funny review on "me" the other day on CHICAGOREADERdotCOM. 

"SKISM - At the top of his SoundCloud page, Berlin-based producer and DJ Skism has written, "Move on, no dubstep here. I even hate it." That's a pretty brutal sentiment, especially coming from someone who made his name with big, stuttery beats and wub-wub-wub bass lines. It does happen to more or less sum up the underground dance scene's current opinion of the style as played out, though. Abandoning dubstep looks to have been a good move for him because, to be honest, he was unremarkable at it. But he shines on the mixes he's posted to SoundCloud over the past year, which pile up unlikely combinations of Italo-disco, Krautrock, psychedelia, and some kind of fardled funk shit that sounds like a bunch of hippies locked in a studio with a Moog, a mess of percussion instruments, and about a hundred tabs of acid. — Miles Raymer"

With "SpyInTheHouse" he now returns after 10 years into the “radio business” on a regular basis, where he had been mediating the essentials of electronic music for years between the Techno/House main cities such as Detroit, Chicago or Berlin via "Evosonic" (1997 - 1999) and Cosmium Radio (1999 - 2002). Something that currently wasn’t that easy.

So "SpyInTheHouse" continues to follow the path of enthusiastic overtones and stands simply for the democracy of the so-called "cutting edge" tracks of House, Techno, Acid, Broken Beat and IDM that do sometimes leave the usual club microcosm according to the motto "Take the best from the past and move the next step 4ward into the future!"

Gonna keep this one around a while. Play it, download it, DANCE, GROOVE! This is how SITH does it! Mad love for your support!

JayStarSeven biography:
Born -82 and I was in the DJ-booth at first party's in school, at the age 15 I made and pushed flyers for my big bro's and extra bro Stålberg's club night, who snuck me in thru the backdoor. As soon as I was legally allowed (2001) I started doing proper(paid) dj-gigs, throwing my own parties and club nights. 
So by the time 2002/03 I was doing 2-3 gigs / weekend, working with photography on daytime until 2011, then going full time as DJ with sometimes 5 nights a week...  

It feels by this state that I'm starting to master the craft of djing and I LOVE it more than ever!!!

I'm missing my gigs like at hell at the moment, but as since mid -19 I'm focusing half my time working on own music and to get mine and my crew debut releases out there as MOTVIKT. 
Expect them out there during 2025, if not then I'll probably started to engineer it by myself and learning the craft of a analogue mixing studio... :D
