The Way of the Five Pecks of Rice is a solo ambient post-rock project from Kit Carruthers. It is an exercise in hypnosis. The instruments used are a synthesizer, two electric guitars, a base guitar, two violins, a viola, a cello, a double bass, a flute, a piccolo, a clarinet, an oboe, a bassoon, a piano, a harpsichord, a harp and a sitar.

A lattice of memories arranged in motion. “Archive of Spiral Fragments” builds a progressive spine and wraps it with fractal micro-details, granular flickers, and polyrhythmic accents. The bass stays rolling and centered while upper layers orbit in shifting cycles, forming short tension knots and controlled releases. Midway the piece thins into a hushed inter-section before re-assembling into a denser, spiral drive. A connective chapter that catalogs motifs while pushing the album toward a more intricate, club-leaning momentum.

A luminous extension of the dreamlike journey, “Dreamflow Spectrum” explores shifting frequencies and prismatic textures. Built around a steady progressive pulse, the track unfolds in colorful layers — deep bass resonance, evolving pads, airy arpeggios, and intricate percussive detailing. The spectrum widens gradually, oscillating between hypnotic calm and radiant momentum, until it resolves into a spacious dissolve.

Dreamflow Spectrum

A slow descent into recollection. Built on a steady progressive pulse, “Submergence in Memories” drifts through underwater pads, grainy echoes, and gently shifting percussive patterns. Bass anchors the dive while the mids bloom in waves—short swells of color, brief dissolves, then a deeper pull back down. The piece favors continuity over impact, letting textures carry the emotion and leaving room for the next chapter to surface.

Submergence in Memories

Designed To Feel is a journey through downtempo, psychill, and atmospheric electronica. Blending older and new tracks, the album connects different times into one flow. It explores the meeting of human and technology, cosmic soundscapes, deep basslines, and voices about space and systems. A soundtrack for reflection, movement, and the shared search for meaning in a changing world

This is Spirit Project the treasured project focus to bring new Psychedelic Music to the World. Spirit project is a culmination of over 20 years in music. She started as a toddler, playing with her father's guitar and her own drum set. At the age of 16 she bought her first DJ decks, Technics 1210's and began teaching herself to DJ, a deep love for underground Music fuelling this life long desire to produce her own take on her loves. 
She  invested into her own production Studio over a number of years, gradually building it, its been tough going without but to her; her music is everything. The last 12 years have been very interesting, teaching herself new synthesisers and technology until she reached a level of being awarded a Scholarship at Point Blank Music School, currently going into her 3rd year of her production and Sound engineering honours degree.
She has had releases on some well known record labels in the Underground scene, Blue Tunes records, Ovnimoon records, Spiral Trax and many others. She loves to tell stories with her Music, taking the listener on a unique journey. She has been resident on some top Psytrance stations, Tribalismo Radio, Dragonfly radio, ETN.fm, DMT-Fm, DICE radio and numerous others.
Spirit project is her new evolution in her sounds, designing her own synthesisers, using numerous others, her creative Sound design is reaching new levels as she continues to evolve. With a deep passion for Astronomy, nature and Science, the metaphysical and Art she loves to take the listener on a journey, expressing her Soul.

Daniël Majoor, also the producer behind the Alio Forte project,  has been involved with electronic music since childhood.

Growing up with the music of Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, OMD, Ultravox, Depeche Mode, and later the Ambient scene, he tried to emulate his idols with the few instruments he had. Daniël was primarily interested in sounds and learned to create his own sounds on borrowed synthesizers and keyboards.

Daniël is self-taught, doesn't read music, and taught himself to play. 

Daniël doesn't see himself as a musician, but rather as someone who "paints" with sound. Just as a painter mixes his colours, Daniel continually experiments with new sounds until he has found the right atmosphere.
