The Doormouse finally emerges from the shadows of his bass-lined burrow with a sound all his own. “Late to the Groove” is his heartfelt, funky apology to the Wonderland crew—because, of course, he’s sorry he’s late. The little plump wanderer didn’t make it onto the main album with the others, lost somewhere between the desert winds and the thump of his own rhythm. But what he brings now is pure soul: desert-funk riffs, dust-sparkled bass lines, and the quiet strength of someone who shows up in his own time, carrying melodies worth waiting for.

With the Queen of Hearts’ Castle glittering on the horizon, the Doormouse steps forward at last—small, round, determined, and grooving. This is his journey, his apology, and his triumph. Better late than never. And absolutely worth the wait.

Loopus has established himself a reputation for the so called "funkedelic" sound : a mixture of psytrance and funky disco sounds...there's  actually more (or less),  a total free crossover of influences  with an electro, progressive, jazzy,  circus feeling  blended with the severe discipline of psytrance: a mind twisting psychedelia with a running full baseline...
