Hedflux - February 2010 Promo Mix

G'day! I am elated to finally be sharing with you my remix of Hedflux's 2012 track 'Diversion'. This remix has been through ALOT of different permutations over the course of its creation. I knew I wanted to do something slightly out of the norm with the parts, but wasn't sure what until i'd made about 4 different variants of the same track, and eventually glued my favourite parts together.

This is my first ever remix for Steve, it was such a pleasure to remix the man that got me started on this kind of music. He originally asked me to have a crack at 'Mindcell', but I wimped out haha.

This remix will be coming out on Hedflux's very own label, (LUMINUS) as part of the Hedflux Remixed series. There's some seriously cool remixes to come from some of the best producers around, so i'm psyched to be a part of it.

Very happy to be part of this awesome compilation on Hedflux's new label Luminus Music alongside three other of my favourite psychedelic artists. This track is a remix of the classic Psychedelic Tech Funk banger Lumination by Hedflux & Grouch and it was an absolute honour to be able to remix it. Hope ya like it :D

Yoyoyo! Positively thrilled to be sharing with you this remix for Hedflux's classic breaks track, 'Non Stop'. It feels super weird to have remixed this tune, as when I first started getting into this kind of music, this was one of my absolute favourites. So it's nothing short of an honour to have been given the opportunity to remix something so close to my heart.

I tried not to stray too far from the original groove, as for me that groove is what makes this track. And I know that a fair few people have a similar relationship with this track to that of my own, so I truly hope i've done it justice. There's only one way to find out, so have a listen and if it doesn't make you want to tear your own ears off, then leave a comment and spread the word :)

Hedflux - Non Stop (Bad Tango Remix) [OUT NOW!]

All I can say about this one is it's a heads-down hands-up chugger of a choon. It's got a low slung groove with a high frequency vibration - a huge tune with a top drop and a shakedown in the breakdown. It does take prisoners but it lets them off the chain, and it’ll tear your roof off and build you a new one.

Hedflux December 2012 Mix

The long awaited White Nights is finally seeing the light of day! I actually finished this track more than 2 years ago, I don't think it's dated that much, but that's for you guys to decide. I wrote this after first playing in St Petersburg in the spring of 2010, where it stays day light all through the night (hence white nights). It's been slotting perfectly into the end of my sets, being as it is 137bpm. Comments are gratefully received as always :)

This tune was made about 3 years ago, on an old PC, old sound card, and old monitors. And it was never finished to my satisfaction due to the project file becoming corrupted and unrecoverable. That being said, this version here has had a lot of play, and it always goes down a storm! So here it is, for you all to enjoy.

Bad Tango is the electronic music project of UK based producer Will Railton.

Will was first established in the Psychedelic Breakbeat & Tech-Funk genres following his debut release in January 2011. After topping download charts with a string of successful releases on a variety of labels, he was quickly scooped up by forward thinking UK label Broken Robot, where he continued to help pioneer the Psy Breaks genre alongside the likes of Hedflux and ex-Far Too Loud member, Neurodriver.

In October 2018, following two International Breakbeat Award nominations, a long track record of global bookings and a multitude of auspicious EP’s, remixes and collaborations, Will released his first full length studio album ‘ILK’.
