Set joué dimanche 6 Juillet sur l'Alternative Stage ("The Pit") du plus en plus connu Ethereal Decibel Festival !

Ce set a été conçu en sachant que j'allez être entre le copain Cirklz et le légendaire Okapi, et autant le début du set était évident, autant la fin pas du tout ... Je voulais faire un voyage de fin des festival teinté de Psygressive et d'Hypnotic Techno pour à la fois danser et s'enfoncer dans nos pensées le long d'un tunnel psychédélique sans fin. MAIS ! Mais en fait, à la fin d'un festival, et en particulier quand Okapi arrive ensuite, est qu'on a pas un peu envie de s'énerver et se s'envoler dans l'hyperespace ? 

La fin du Set est ainsi un peu, énervé, et je crois avoir vu que ça vous a plu donc me voilà finalement satisfait hihi <3 !

Good Old Raoul is a self-taught electronic music artist and producer. Evolving for about a decade, he draws inspiration from hip-hop, discovered techno through free parties, and trance during his travels. His musical development was shaped through exchanges and learning alongside Version Bizar, Breakoacoustique, and Eco Jafar, with whom he shared experiences and techniques. Enriched by these collaborations, Good Old Raoul had the opportunity to perform on stage alongside renowned names such as Electrypnose, Kliment, and Golanski. In 2022, he joined the label Chronozone, which has been supporting him in his releases and shows ever since. In 2023, Ben Rama trusted him. Good Old Raoul released a track on the Canadian label Techgnosis and became part of it. His music is a unique fusion of trance and techno, combining offbeat minimalism with psychedelic sounds. Good Old Raoul is a major figure in the psychedelic scene, with many artist friends. His music embodies the meeting of nature and technology, wisdom and madness, dance and introspection.

Etienne aka Danny a toujours associé la musique à la joie. Un jour, Danny rencontra la Psytrance et fit l'expérience du festival Hadra en 2014. Jamais une expérience musical n'avait apporté autant de joie à Danny.

Depuis lors il se mit à écouter et à chercher ce qui lui plaît le plus.  L’objectif de digger des sons est de faire découvrir les perles ainsi trouvées à ses ami.e.s, promouvoir ainsi des producteurices de musique pour d’autant plus favoriser leur travail, leur présence sur scène, et donc, la joie de Danny.

L’objectif du DJ set est foncièrement le même, sauf qu’en plus du dig, Danny essaie de jouer des contrastes, des dynamiques et des mélodies pour maintenir l’attention sur un temps plus long, et ainsi, favoriser encore plus efficacement la promotion de la musique qu’aime Danny.

Au fil du temps, il s’est avéré que Danny aime le plus souvent quand ça fait boom boom entre 130 et 145 battements par minute (parfois au dessus, rarement en dessous). Danny n’a pas de réelle préférence entre la lumière ou l’obscurité dans la musique. Finalement, ce qui est le plus important c’est de se perdre, de vriller, de planer, de fuir notre réalité si difficile. Au cours du voyage on rencontre, on danse, on est surpris, on réfléchit, on est curieux, on trouve ça beau, ça rend joyeux.

J’espère donc à travers ces DJ set kiffer égoïstement, et kiffer égoïstement de voir que cela vous fait kiffer (et vice et versa).
