"It's 85 Again" - Nostalgic Retro 80's Synthwave Mix

The seven swans a swimming on NVWLS NoeL begin with a tune of our own making, a punchy lil number going by the name of Steam that's punctuated by production maestro YEPIMNICK's maxed out drum pattern and tough rolling bass. 

James Le Roux glides in in second with the sumptuous In The Mind - we honestly couldn't decide which of this lad's works to host, so we hope you agree we chose wisely with this remarkable slice of low-slung techno firepower.

Sauntering in behind comes the long-awaited NVWLS debut from old time friend Bon, who nails the mark with the swelling tech house of Access. 

He's closely followed by the rough and ready Acid Metrick and his techno Tarantula, striking eight rounds of fear into arachnophobes and unready dancefloors alike.

Up next, a NVWLS stalwart steps up in an unfamiliar new guise to deliver the emphatic You, a more hard bodied departure from his usual synth-led style that emphatically retains his unquestionable production skills. 

David Alexander keeps up the momentum whilst displaying the prowess that saw him release on Kumasi in sweet sixth with the tumbling and vibrant Akachi.

Lastly Pulse 80 breaks out the interstellar Baileys with the enchanting Cosmic Beach.

Malefoy'86 is a Synthwave/New Retrowave DJ and music producer from France, living in Australia.

David Malefoy (aka Malefoy'86) finds a purpose sharing his legacy of Synthwave and New Retrowave tracks into mixes that awake the nostalgia of the 80's and 90's sound.

Formerly known as Adam Spider in the years 2008-2010, David made his first steps into composing a set of tracks, mainly influenced by the re-emerging Electro/French Electroklash of the 2000's (Justice, Daft Punk, EdBanger Records and many more)

He later moved to Australia where he is living since 2017, and finally decided to officially become an active Synthwave DJ in 2023.
