I remember hearing the compilation 'The Spirit Of The Underground Vol. 1' from Labworks in 1992, and when 'The Sound' came on it spoke to me in a way most (hard, chaotic) Techno I had heard so far, had not.

I also remember at about the same time listening to the compilation 'Rauschen' from Force Inc and was really impressed with Exit 100's Liquid (Remix), the same artist that is behind the moniker 'Purple Plejade' in this mashup, Thomas P Heckman.

Discovered in October 2009, this version created in Ableton Live in October 2011.

DJ vmood - Purple Plejade (Blanche) vs Plasma (The Sound [Fly High])

I started on this mashup in 2009 with only Source and Purple Plejade, but found it was chaotic and messy and never really finished it.

Now with better tools I've given it a re-haul and after listening to the beautiful intro in 'Realms' I started hearing one of Jarre's songs in my head, and it fit well in the mix.

Discovered in October 2009, remade in Ableton Live in June and July 2024.
