Welcome to the Technical Difficulties Edition of yet another amazing Freshitravaganza show, wherein we have an ad hoc discussion about literally whatever dumb stuff pops into our heads!  Funny story… We tried to do a show wherein we savaged Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon, his latest mirthless sci-fi IP starter. But all our tech went bonkers early without us realizing it and we lost everything but the Fresh Sh!t at the beginning.  So we decided to cut our losses, keep that bit and expand it into a better, full-length show. Because no way were we giving Rebel Moon a do over. Nope.

Episode 290 -  Freshitravaganza: Technical Difficulties Edition

Another track from Half A World Away in 2019 remade in 2023, remastered in 2024 for SoundCloud. 

It’s probably from the early 90s with the Orb (and that Justin Robertson mix tape mentioned elsewhere here. Plus the on u sound remixes of PWEI) … but dub & reggae always makes a return to my music. (Along with trumpets it seems).  I did go to Jamaica to explore the sounds c2001, so I did do my homework - getting into king tubby and Lee Scratch Perry. 

Well this one brings in some Jamaican vocals and some off beat chords, but certainly isn’t really reggae or dub.  Shout out to Audio Damage, who's dub station and pan station plugins are my go-tos.  UVI's relay for Delay as well.

The title refers to my consistent M.O. of being incapable of getting going until it’s the last minute.  Painful for me. Probably more painful for everyone else relying on me. But over the years, I’ve learnt to work with it rather than get stressed by it.  Get it in!
