I wanted to have a cool walking groove that could repeat and evolve without getting old. Piano and vibes give way to a string quartet the 4th verse.  I visualize a scene where someone in sneaking through the city on foot in a Film Noir drama.

My final for Contemporary Techniques 2, as performed this morning during a Zoom class. I actually MISSED it this time and it makes me so sad. Still, I got some valuable critiques whenever things had to stop, and luckily there weren't any moments where I would've needed to add disclaimers like last time. I cut the audio down to an unbroken performance.

Mexican-Polish composer born in Mexico City.
Enrique studied composition and music theory in Mexico City and in New York City.
Has had his music performed in different festivals by accomplished performers, mainly in Mexico and in the USA.
He has also performed in the ensemble Estofado Locrio (mandolin), the rock band Da Pato Logique (clarinets, tenor sax, saxhorn, keyboards, bass guitar, mandolin) in Mexico City and the brass band Trout Circus (tenor saxophone) in Chicago.
Besides composing, Enrique is currently cohosting the podcast Las Tías de la Música where he discusses music history.

You've reached the home of the so-called "epic Wario" thing. I've a massive catalogue of waamixes and waarangements for yon nigras to peruse with hearty contentment, as they eat whole garlic loaves and shoulder bash their computer.

Sorry if uhhh the volume for tracks varies, or is just relatively all-over-the-place. Even though I usually keep my system vol. at 52, there have been times where I've changed it and forgot that I did, then started working on a project.

Q: Why do I use the Wario Land 4 soundfont to some capacity for so many tracks?
A: Because I love the way it sounds, obviously. Half the reason why I'll start making a MIDI in the first place is that I want to hear what it'd sound like with the Wario Land 4 soundfont.

One wonders how much of their fanbase thinks of ol' typhoidoa as "epic Wario man, *and ig some other stuff*" - the same sort of typecasting that has felled a number of UT Remix artists over the years.
