When I saw "Sammy Rae & The Friends" announcing a Virtual Choir rerelease of "Coming Home Song" with fan vocals I knew I had to participate!
I recorded 8 layers of myself, on my phone, in my car as to not disturb my friend whom I was visiting at the time. I then mixed it and everything on my phone using Garage Band, and submitted :DDD
Unfortunately, I have no idea whether my submission made the cut. No where is it mentioned who made it on the official upload, and given i didn't record any video, there's just no way to tell.

But I figured "If i can record 8 layers of myself doing a backing track for this, why not cover the whole thing :DDD But in a nicer key of course!"
So I did :P

The backing track was from a Google Drive link, provided by the official Instagram page. I dunno if the link is still active though :(

Lately, I've been trying to upgrade my audio game.
I started off with SingStar mics from ps2 xD
Then moved on to a $9 mic I bought from Kmart.
Now I'm using a decently good mic, the Behringer Ultravoice XM8500. As well as an Audio Interface :D

I've also moved away from Audacity and am now using Sonar LE.
So....Hopefully everything from late 2016 onwards sounds decent :P
As of Friday the 13th (lol) of April 2018, I installed Cakewalk by BandLab :D Idk how much difference that would make, but hopefully things might sound better :")
