KANTIBUS is an American producer/songwriter who has been creating songs since 1990.

It is a portmanteau of his first initial and last name. 

KANTIBUS started creating what would eventually become known as Drill or Trap Music, demonstrating expertise in both genres. 

As such, he is a pioneer of the "violent real life criminal" styles that exist still in the underground today. 

I have been in the House Music scene for nearly six decades. My journey spans from dancer to blogger and currently DJ. I run a German-based radio show called Sounds from the Chi. I have a monthly show called Calling on House Heads on my Twitch channel.  I’ve been featured on various radio shows such as Our House Is Disco on 54House.fm in Germany; UICRadio.org in Chicago; HousWerk Mixshow KAOS Radio in Austin, TX; Groove Station on Housemusicradio.ca hosted by Jackman Jones in Toronto, Canada; and QSC Radio Show at WNUR 89.3 in Chicago.  I am currently involved in various Twitch Raid Trains.

You have seen me play at gigs like House on Paseo festival in September 2018 and at the former Mid Nightclub in early January 2019. In March 2019 I opened for Sugar Shack Family Reunion at Barcelona Nightclub in Austin, TX during the South by Southwest Festival.
