This is a song that's been a long time coming. Too long, frankly. It was finished last year, but the video is only out now for a... whole host of reasons. Mostly my fault. But... it's out now. I can finally get this nutty idea out of my head and into your ears. At the least, I learned a lot from all this, and got to collaborate with some great people. Hopefully I can mark this as a soft turning point for my music / this account. This was a pure labor of love, and with it finally done, I think I have enough drive, time and knowhow to tackle more original projects going forward. I'm excited for the future - I hope y'all are too. In the meantime, however... happy listening! ^_^

In The (Cyclical) End [Instrumental]

This is the second Rain World-inspired song I made for the region concepts community project, Rain World: Nadir, organized by @Daszombes on YouTube! If you wish to see the original video this was made for, look for it here:

(go see it please, a lot of effort was put into it by everyone involved, and it really shows.)

This song was made right at the nick of the halfway point deadline, right when creature concepts were being finalized, so (not realizing music submissions don't work the same way), I ended up making this lil' atmospheric thing based on Rain World's "ELSE" themes in a mad 2-3 day dash to meet that deadline. Frankly it was a good experiment for me, a nice diversion from the more intense tracks I've made in the past, and the deadline pushed me to see how fast I could make a track while ensuring it still sounded decent.

... oh, and fun fact, the vocal samples used here are of my own voice! Just me singing in two different octaves of 'C', and put into some samplers with other effects and wind ambience in the background. So yeah. ^_^
