I've always loved Sade's music and have created a few edits and remixes throughout the years but more recently played the 'Sade Night' party in LA, hosted by Vacations and in prepping really went into a deeper dive. I created about 15 remixes, edits and a couple of original tracks - some of which I played the night of the party. Sadly, I wasn't able to record the live set but here I have some of the songs I played for the opening set. Sade Mix No. 1 | Opening Set

DJ NewLife based in Oakland, California by way of Chicago.

NYC based music production label.  Multi-genre but specializing in Dancehall/Reggae.

Myungho Choi was baptized in the early 90s inside the abandoned warehouses of the midwest, experiencing the sounds crafted by the DJs and electronic musicians from Detroit and Chicago. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, Myungho had invaluable access to auteurs such as Juan Atkins, Paul Johnson, Rob Hood and Glenn Underground. Myungho began an output of sounds ranging from downtempo electronic, under the moniker Trout, Spore, and Lewis Overton, to techno and house under the names Elliptical and Myungho Choi.

In the mid 90s, Myungho began performing and releasing tracks on compilations and indie labels, and soon after created an imprint called Transit Records with close friend Shannon Leis. His releases includes two EPs on Transit Records, two EPs with A Touch of Class (Germany), an EP with Odour Recordings from the UK, a release on Krome Boulevard, featured on Mark Farina’s Live in Tokyo mix on the Om label, and a recent EP titled "Jet" on Sakskobing.

Saruat Empire was derived from the artistic and creative talent of Tauras Reid becoming the New York City, Empire State phenom. Saruat empire has a driven delivery that catches melodious fire to the minds of Old school and popular culture enthusiasts. Saruat is one who brings the world party from division to unity, line for line in with Saruat Empire productions.

This is my ongoing Music Journal, a series improvised tracks created entirely in GarageBand using a M-AUDIO Oxygen61 MIDI keyboard. Each piece is recorded within a few hours, with no rewrites or polish, just a raw snapshot of that moment’s creative headspace.

Some tracks are melodic, some are chaotic. Some feel complete, others feel like half-dreams. That’s the point.
It’s not about perfection—it’s about process, instinct, and capturing an honest sound before it fades.
