Cuando escribí esta canción me hice una pregunta que aún no sé contestar: si existe el alma, ¿qué es lo que deja escapar? Tal vez amor, tal vez miedo… tal vez nada. Y con ella vinieron otras dudas: ¿somos libres de elegir nuestro camino o todo está escrito? ¿Somos solo polvo de estrellas o un sueño que el cosmos permite? De ahí nació ¿Qué sale del alma?

Dr. Holguín es un artista independiente originario de Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua. Médico de formación y rapero por vocación.
Su música es una fusión entre filosofía popular, crítica social, cultura geek y un toque de absurdismo existencial. Todo esto se entrelaza con letras cargadas de ironía, reflexión y honestidad.
Con un estilo que va del sarcasmo al pensamiento profundo, aborda temas tan variados como la vida cotidiana, las relaciones humanas, el cuestionamiento del sistema y el análisis de obras de la cultura pop.

Esta propuesta cobra forma en su primer álbum, “Piezas Sueltas”, un collage conceptual donde convergen sus distintas facetas: el médico rapero, el filósofo aficionado, el geek y el bufón. Cada canción es una pieza que revela un fragmento de su identidad y su forma de ver el mundo.

Musicalmente, creció rodeado por el regional mexicano —mariachi, norteño, banda y bolero—, e incluso llegó a tocar el guitarrón en un mariachi durante la preparatoria. Pero fue en la secundaria donde descubrió el rap.

Su inspiración abarca desde lo urbano de Sabino, Lng SHT o Simpson Ahuevo, hasta la balada, la trova, el rock, la cumbia y el regional, con referentes como José José, Juan Gabriel, Napoleón o Joan Sebastian.
Y aun así, se quedan fuera decenas de artistas, bandas y géneros, porque su gusto musical no se limita por etiquetas, sino por lo que conmueve, deja huella y dice algo verdadero, sin importar el ritmo con el que se diga.

DJ El Niño, affectionately known as "El Niño," is a DJ like no other, not only because of his unique skills and trajectory but also because of his tremendous knowledge of the world's music catalog. He was raised in the Bronx by his parents, from the Dominican Republic, a country known for its cultural foothold of hot Latin sounds. El Niño discovered his love and connection with music at a very early age. His vast exposure to different genres and sounds allowed him to embrace other cultures, which was instrumental in harvesting an eclectic source of influences. Alongside musicianship, El Niño's positive attitude and resilience have led him to perform at some of the world's top venues. He continues to innovate and maintain an impeccable reputation delivering timeless performances at renowned venues such as Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos in the US and Estadio Pascual Guerrero in Colombia, Where he performed for crowds in excess of 50,000.

As the music industry continues to evolve and Latin urban music continues to overtake the throne as the number one genre in the world, El Niño continues to cultivate the DJ culture by maintaining on course with his mission of creating memorable and epic moments via his music.
