I have written this song for myself, and all those people out there in the world that have busted their backsides to do the right thing and try and make their family's life better and even though they personally did not quite make it, they can be proud of their efforts.

The story of “My Own Way” unfolds as a heartfelt ballad of reflection, resilience, and gratitude. It carries the weight of a life lived with effort and honesty, where triumphs were few but the spirit never gave in. This Traditional Pop/Jazz/Swing ballad draws from everyday struggle, told through the voice of an ordinary man who found pride in trying and love along the journey.
