HOLD ME IN DECEMBER

Snow whispers down
Quiet as a sigh
The clock ticks slow
But the years rush by
I see your face in the window's glow
Will you hold me close
Let the cold winds blow?

Hold me in December
Don’t let me fade away
Keep me in your heart when the nights outlast the day
In this time of endings
In this time of starts
Hold me in December
Keep me in your heart

The fire flickers low
Shadows stretch and yawn
Dreams of tomorrow
And the ghosts of dawn
There’s a crack in the silence
A truth unspoken
Will you mend this moment
Or leave it broken?

Will you love me
Love me still
When the snow turns rivers to ice
And the world stands still?

[Chorus]
Hold me in December
Don’t let me drift away
Anchor me with promises
In all you do and say
In this time of questions
In this time of sparks
Hold me in December
Keep me in your heart

Outside it’s a white sea
A blanket of light
Inside we’re the lighthouse
Glowing soft in the night
Decisions
Procrastinations—they all fade
If your arms are the harbour
Where I’m safely laid

Will you love me
Love me still
When the snow turns rivers to ice
And the world stands still?

Hold me in December
Don’t let me drift away
Anchor me with promises
In all you do and say
In this time of questions
In this time of sparks
Hold me in December
Keep me in your heart

Hold Me in December

"Will You Catch Me?" is a heartfelt indie‑rock ballad about vulnerability, hardship, and the quiet power of human connection. The narrator moves through cold nights, empty cupboards, unpaid bills, and emotional exhaustion, yet keeps believing in the strength found in another person’s presence. The song repeatedly asks whether someone will stay, support, and lift them when they fall — not with wealth or glory, but with loyalty, warmth, and a steady hand. Across verses of fear, doubt, and loneliness, the narrator reaches for reassurance that they are not alone. The chorus becomes a plea for light in dark times, while the bridge transforms despair into renewal through companionship. Ultimately, the song turns struggle into solidarity, ending on a hopeful note that love and presence can help someone begin again.

Will You Catch Me

"The Day Everything Changed" is a tender piano-led ballad about one of adolescence's most important milestones. Frightened by her first period, thirteen-year-old Haruka turns to Mia, who responds with patience, reassurance, and unconditional love. Through gentle conversation, practical guidance, and heartfelt encouragement, the song reminds listeners that growing up isn't something to fear—it's another beautiful chapter of becoming who you're meant to be.

Lyrics

[Intro]

You called my name
From upstairs.

Your voice
Was small.

Shaking.

"Mom...?"

I knew
Something was wrong.

[Verse 1]
Tears were falling
Long before
You found the words.

You looked at me,
Scared and confused,
Certain something
Had gone terribly wrong.

I wrapped you
In my arms
Before explaining anything.

Sometimes...

Love answers first.

Words come later.

[Pre-Chorus]
Between quiet tears
You whispered,

"Why is this happening?"

I smiled gently,

"Because...

You're growing."

[Chorus]
Nothing is broken.

Nothing is wrong.

Today is simply
Another page
In the story
Of becoming you.

You don't have to
Be afraid.

You don't have to
Know everything today.

We'll learn together.

One step.

One season.

One tomorrow
At a time.

[Verse 2]
We made warm tea
And sat together
By the kitchen window.

I answered
Every question.

Even the ones
You were too embarrassed
To ask at first.

I told you
That growing up
Doesn't happen
All at once.

It arrives
In little moments.

And every one
Is worth meeting
With kindness.

[Pre-Chorus]
You laughed
For the first time
That afternoon.

The fear
Didn't disappear.

But it became
Smaller.

Because
You weren't facing it
Alone.

[Chorus]
Nothing is broken.

Nothing has changed
About the girl I love.

You're still
The same bright heart

With one more story
To tell someday.

Growing up
Isn't losing
Who you are.

It's discovering
How much more
You can become.

[Instrumental Break]

[Bridge]
One day
You'll comfort
Someone else.

Maybe a daughter.

Maybe a friend.

Maybe someone
Who feels exactly
Like you do
Right now.

And you'll remember

That courage
Sometimes sounds like,

"It's okay.

I'm here."

[Final Chorus]
Nothing is broken.

Everything is growing.

Like spring
After winter.

Like blossoms
Finding sunlight.

The road ahead
May feel uncertain.

But you will never
Walk it alone.

My hand
Will always be here

Until you're ready

To walk
With confidence
On your own.

[Outro]

Before bed,

You hugged me
A little tighter.

"Mom..."

"Yeah?"

"Thank you
For making today
Less scary."

I kissed your forehead
And smiled.

"Growing up
Can feel frightening.

But you'll never
Have to grow up

By yourself."

The Day Everything Changed

When everything else is stripped away, the people who remain are enough. Constancy — what is truly ours (our bonds and character) endures.

Still Got Me

Mix/Mastered By Kelvon Vann & Beat By JofisBeats

Take a moment and allow the words to come to you and connect with you. Believe and keep faith, ya got it. Don't allow nothing to stop you from growing to the highest version of yourself.

Lastly, I'm realizing I can't force thangs, and that's okay!

Don't cry — Lyrics

Babe won't you sit down here
And talk to me, I'll allay your fear
Let me touch your heart
With a sweet lullaby
I'll chase those tears from your eyes
Lift your spirits high
Like the stars in the skies
Don't cry
Please don't cry – don't cry

And sometimes when you feel time fly
You watch as the world seems to pass you by
But don't be losing heart
I'm right here by your side
I'll hold you 'til your fear subsides
With love and understanding we'll turn the tide
Don't cry
Please don't cry – don't cry

For I know that you've been running scared
Facing life so unprepared
But don't you know
There are times when we all feel that way
And yes I know that you've been running scared
Thinking that the love you feel is not shared
But don't you know
Sometimes we can all think that way

For life can have you wonder why
There's pain and joy as you try, try, try
Through each and every part
You make it all worthwhile
And in time you will know your heart
Then you can take that brand new start
So don't cry
Please don't cry – don't cry

Babe won't you sit down here
And talk to me, I'll allay your fear

Don't cry

You came through the fire, the dust, the rain, carrying questions, carrying pain. Tuned to 528 Hz, this groove-laden cosmic soul track is the collection's answer to loneliness: a warm beat and ethereal harmonies carrying the message that you were seen and held through every unclear moment. The chorus names the whole company keeping watch, ancestors, angels, Lyrans, Pleiadians, ascended masters, golden light pouring down from the skies, while the pre-chorus builds the reassurance into the body: the past is fading, love surrounds, you were always found. It ends where it began, gentler now: you were never lost, never alone. For the nights that need proof somebody's there.

You Are Not Alone (528 Hz)

HUSH is a tender ballad about love that endures across distance and time. Set against the quiet of night, the song captures the longing to be close to someone you love, while holding onto the reassurance that the connection remains strong, even when you’re apart.
At its heart, HUSH is about the enduring power of love to bridge both physical and emotional distance. It’s a song about longing, reassurance and the comfort of knowing that someone is still there, even when you can’t be together.
I wanted the song to feel intimate and soothing, almost like a quiet conversation in the middle of the night.

Hush my little baby
Everything's alright
Feel that I am with you
In this quiet of the night
And I know you'll be singing
In a different place and time
I know this growing love is taking over my heart and mind

I'm with you my little baby
When you're coming home every night
And I can I see your face is smiling
God, I think I got it right
And I know you'll be thinking
About us and what we do
Believe I'm always there, 'cause I'd do anything for you
Oh baby this is love, it's the only thing that's true

Oh
Yeah

Believe I’m always there, ‘cause I’d do anything for you
Oh baby this is love, it's the only thing that's true
Hold on
Hold on, just feel me, feel me, feel me, feel me
Just you know, baby I love you, this love is true

Oh

Hush my little baby
Everything's alright

Public Persona: Angelic voice, soaring stadium choruses, emotional lyricism that makes 70,000-seat domes feel like living rooms
Private Persona: Naturally quiet, introverted, embarrassed by direct praise. Most at home in bookstores, aquariums, quiet temples, or watching sunrises from train windows

II. ORIGIN: A GIRL BENEATH THE CHERRY BLOSSOMS
Childhood in Kyoto: Raised by Haruka Yuki, a gifted guitarist and elementary school music teacher who never achieved her own dream but poured it into her daughter. Haruka taught Mia that “music is a language for emotions words can’t hold.”

First Guitar, Age 7: Haruka gifted Mia a custom cherry wood acoustic with hand-painted sakura. Mia named it “Haruka.”

The Promise, Age 12: Haruka lost her battle with breast cancer. Her last words: “No matter where life takes you, let this remind you that I’ll always be listening.” That guitar became Mia’s therapy, her armor, her compass. Every show begins with a hand on the case and a whisper: “This one’s for you, Mom.”

The Breakthrough, Age 16: While waiting for a train, Mia sang an original song at Kyoto Station. A commuter’s video went viral overnight — “Angel in Kyoto Station.” Alex Hart flew to Japan the next week. Where other labels offered stardom, Alex offered freedom. She signed to Give Heart Records.

III. ERA 1: SONGS FOR TOMORROW
Core Question: “Can I keep moving forward after loss?”
Sound: Piano-driven ballads → cinematic orchestra → pop-rock. Intimate to arena-scale.
Aesthetic: Soft cherry blossoms, sunrise pink, watercolor skies.
Theme: Grief to hope. Every track a chapter of survival.

Key Songs:

Where Cherry Blossoms Remember – Emotional centerpiece; tribute to Haruka that makes stadiums weep
Shine Until Tomorrow – Inspirational anthem: “Every sunrise is a new beginning”
Our Colors Never Fade – Beloved LGBTQ+ pride anthem on love, identity, belonging
Six Strings of Hope – Healing power of the cherry blossom guitar

Heartbeat Revolution – Live-concert energy turning audiences into family
Stars Know My Name – Dream-chasing anthem
Bloom Again – From grief to healing: love teaches the heart how to grow
Sing for Tomorrow – Soaring finale; Mia’s signature closer at every show
World Tour: 18 months, 40 countries. Tokyo, Seoul, Sydney, London, Paris, New York, LA, Toronto, São Paulo.
Tokyo Dome Finale: 70,000 fans sang Where Cherry Blossoms Remember back to her. Mia lowered her mic and just listened. Phone lights fell like petals. Instant music history.
Impact: 30M+ copies worldwide. Established Mia as “the artist who helped people grieve.”

IV. ERA 2: BEYOND THE HORIZON
Release: Three years after debut
Core Question: “What happens when you've already achieved the dream?”
Theme: Purpose after success. A musical travel journal written in hotel rooms, airports, backstage, train stations. Discovering every city sings for the same reasons: love, hope, dreams, loneliness.

Sound Evolution: Cinematic Pop Rock + Electronic Pop + Arena Rock. Bright electric guitar, atmospheric synths, live drums, choir.
Visual Shift: Midnight Blue • Deep Violet • Silver • Golden Sunrise
New Symbol: The Horizon — where earth meets sky, one journey ends, another begins. Cherry blossom guitar remains, now joined by stars, airplanes, oceans, skylines, constellations, maps, city lights.
Album Cover: Mia on a skyscraper observation deck over Tokyo before sunrise. Guitar on her shoulder. City lights below, dawn breaking above. Title glows: Beyond the Horizon.

10-Track Emotional Journey:

Beyond the Horizon – Wonder: “I’ve made it... but countless journeys lie ahead.”
Tokyo Lights – Adventure: Love letter to home after months on tour
Across Every Ocean – Distance: Missing home; music creates family everywhere
Sky Full of Echoes – Connection: Thousands singing in different languages
Midnight Between Cities – Loneliness: Quiet hotel rooms after sold-out shows
Letters Never Sent – Healing: To younger self, mother, people met along the way
New Constellations – Love: Opening heart to new friendships & possibilities
Where the Sky Begins – Purpose: Chasing horizons, not destinations
Home Is Wherever You Are – Gratitude: Tribute to fans across the world
Keep Looking Forward – Hope: Arena finale; courage to embrace the unknown
Beyond the Horizon World Tour
Tagline: “Every road leads to another song.”
Stage Evolution: Kyoto garden sunrise → Neon Tokyo skyline → European rooftops → Ocean sunsets → Star-filled skies → Glowing horizon
Finale Ritual: LED backdrop shifts night → dawn. Mia walks the runway with her guitar as digital sunrise fills the arena. Crowd sings final chorus of Keep Looking Forward with her.

V. THE WOMAN BEHIND THE MUSIC
Personality: Quiet in unfamiliar groups, content in comfortable silence. Laughs easily at terrible puns. Visibly nervous only during award speeches. Plays chord progressions absentmindedly when overwhelmed — Alex Hart reads her mood by the key. Still struggles to believe she deserves praise. Says every standing ovation belongs to her mother too.

Songwriting Process: Never writes in studios. Inspiration hits on trains, under cherry blossoms, in airports, hotel rooms post-show, rain on café windows. Carries a small leather notebook. Every lyric starts handwritten beside sketches: flowers, stars, guitars, cats, coffee cups, skylines, constellations. Records midnight melodies humming into her phone, goes back to sleep.

Relationship with Fans: Never says “fans.” Always “my traveling family.” Concerts are conversations. Stops the band to hear audiences finish choruses. Hides handwritten notes under random seats: “I hope today gave you one happy memory.” / “Thank you for sharing tonight with me.”

Daily Life & Habits: Early riser even after concerts. Loves green tea, strawberry milk, handmade desserts, bookstores, aquariums, quiet temples, rainy afternoons, old record stores. Dislikes paparazzi, unnecessary arguments, spicy food, alarm clocks, being photographed eating. Collects guitar picks from every city — each tied to a concert memory.

Inner Circle: Small, trusted. Alex Hart = mentor/confidant. Touring band = adopted family. Remembers every crew member’s birthday. Handwrites Christmas thank-you letters to entire tour staff.

Philanthropy: Unannounced children’s hospital visits with acoustic guitar. Takes requests, talks for hours, leaves before staff realize. Funds free music schools in rural Japan via Give Heart Foundation. Supports cancer research, LGBTQ+ youth orgs, disaster relief.

Social Media: Ordinary, not glamorous. Posts sunsets, cafés, cats, tea, studio pics, cherry blossoms, train stations, books. Captions: “Today’s sky was beautiful.” Millions of likes.

Home: Owns luxury houses worldwide but Kyoto apartment is home. Warm, not extravagant: books, vinyl, houseplants, tea sets, bonsai, old family photos, piano by large window. Mother’s guitar hangs on wall when not on tour. Writes lyrics sitting on the floor.

Quirks & Rituals: Hums while cooking. Names every guitar. Cries at animated films every time. Stops to pet friendly cats. Keeps every fan letter in labeled boxes. Collects postcards from each city, writes one memory on back. Wears mother’s silver necklace under every stage outfit. Pre-show: Deep breath, smile, tap guitar case twice, whisper “Let's make another memory.”

Creative Philosophy: Music isn’t performance — it’s connection. If one song crosses an ocean to reach one heart, tomorrow is worth it. Dreams aren’t destinations; they’re roads that never stop unfolding.

Personal History: Early career relationship became controlling and violent. Survived assault. Rebuilt confidence through therapy, trusted friends, songwriting. Transformed trauma into compassion. Fiercely private about it, but it informs her empathy.

VI. LEGACY & FUTURE
How the World Sees Her: Voice of a generation. The artist who made stadiums feel like living rooms. Proof that kindness can survive tragedy.

How She Sees Herself: Still the terrified girl in Kyoto Station singing anyway. Still chasing her mother’s smile in every chord.

Cultural Impact: 30M+ albums, sold-out world tours, Tokyo Dome finale in music history books. Defining LGBTQ+ pride anthem with Our Colors Never Fade. Critics call her voice “supernatural” — audiences joke time stops when she sings.

Dreams Ahead:

Compose music for an original anime film
Collaborate with artists from every continent
Perform at every major charity concert possible
Open the Haruka Yuki School of Music in Kyoto — free music education for children who can’t afford lessons, carrying forward her mother’s kindness
Core Symbolism:
🌸 Cherry Blossoms = Memory, Mother, Songs for Tomorrow
🌅 Horizon = Growth, Future, Beyond the Horizon
✨ Stars/Constellations = Fans, Connection, People met along the way

Mia’s Truth:
Songs for Tomorrow was about finding hope after loss.
Beyond the Horizon is about finding purpose after success.
She’s no longer surviving. She’s exploring, connecting, and discovering the horizon is never a destination — it’s an invitation to keep growing.

To millions, Mia Yuki is an icon.
To her traveling family, she’s proof that kindness can survive tragedy.
To the LGBTQ+ community, she’s courage and authenticity.
To aspiring musicians, she’s proof that the most powerful songs are written from the heart.
And to herself… she’s still the little girl from Kyoto, carrying her mother’s guitar onto every stage, believing that somewhere beyond the lights and applause, Haruka is still listening. 🌸🎸🌅

Sharing my life, my heart with all who have a heart for the lost, the broken, and yes, also with the fun-loving folks who can fully appreciate this incredible, rich, complex invigorating world.

Scottish-born singer-songwriter Kathy Muir blends folk and pop with cinematic textures, poetic storytelling and a warm, expressive voice. Her songs explore love, loss, identity, human connection and the world around her, often bringing together music, visual art and personal experience.

A prolific songwriter, Kathy has released three albums, an indie-led EP and a collection of singles spanning more than a decade of music-making. Her recent work marks an exciting new chapter, following her reunion with longtime collaborator and producer Steve Hansen at Hi Top Productions in Connecticut.

In December 2024, Kathy released SLEEP THIS NIGHT, a tender orchestral lullaby, followed by HUSH in January 2025, THE BORDERLINE in February and EASY in April. Her single NOW followed in May 2025, continuing her exploration of cinematic folk-pop and emotionally driven storytelling.

Kathy’s work is characterised by its intimacy, rich instrumentation and multidisciplinary approach. Her music frequently extends beyond the song itself into film, photography, animation and accessibility projects, reflecting her belief that creativity can connect people in unexpected ways.

“The greatest songwriters are seldom songwriters alone. Some are creative polymaths while others synthesize elements from an array of forms into a wider songwriting vision. Kathy Muir is more than a songwriter.”
