There is a placard posted outside the ruins of a Greek Catholic church in Poland citing its storied past. Back in the day, the village was called Plonna - A village that dates back all the way back to medieval times. That name derives from the Slavic word “plonina,” which means “treeless mountain valley” or “pastureland." Our humble Lemko ancestors were farmers of this land, and fled the area in the 1930s, avoiding subsequent ethnic cleansing operations. That is our grave backstory.

My sister visited the church a number of years ago, and she was instructed by my brother, who had made a similar pilgrimage the prior year, to inspect the stones above the lintel, in cracks in the mortar there.  And this she did.  Indeed she found a cryptic message held between the old stones. It read:

"The Cubs will shine in 2009."

I had a lot of fun making this one and wanted to develop a cool concept. The beat has a nice bounce to it and when I wrote the hook, the rest of the writing flowed nicely. I wanted to balance the idea and make the song both uplifting with positivity but also heartfelt and meaningful, so it can be grooved to but also connected to on an emotional level.

Hey everyone, welcome to my first evert Psychill/psybient downtempo Psy mix :)
I found an old folder of slower tracks full of Psychill, Psybient, chilled Psytrance, and downtempo Psy - all around a nice chilled 115-125 bpm pace.
So I decided to put a mix together, and this is the result! I loved the slower vibe and relaxing pace mixed with the Psy vibe. Very into this now \o/

I'm here just sharing positive vibes in the form of Music.

After discovering the hard house scene in London from 1999-2001, I returned to Sydney and quickly embraced DJ'ing at local hard dance events. Life events put my passion on hold until Covid hit and The Lockdown Legends Facebook group sparked my love for music again. Now, my goal is simple: to share and enjoy hard house, hard trance, and house music with fellow enthusiasts, without any grand ambitions for world DJ domination.

We like to build things and watch them run. We love music, Ambient to Epic, Meditative to Cinematic... We enjoy building backing tracks for enhanced live performance... And we love to discuss NST and fifths tuning.... 

In 2007 I Googled every instrument under the sun, and saw there is a 'jazz' usage of just about every instrument. Even jazz bagpipes. Back then somebody tabulated the term "jazz" and its association with musical instruments, and just about everything was represented - But NO CITTERN.

And that year jazzCittern was born.

(What's a jazzCittern? The 10-string long-scale bouzouki is really the happy offspring of a Mandocello and a Bouzouki. This instrument, when tuned CGDAE, becomes an extraordinary jazz instrument - the extra course illustrates the wonderful symmetries available in fifths tuning. Chord building and scale visualization is a breeze.)

got into electronic dance music in the late 80s doing the full rave experience 4.4 hardcore,techno,house,hard house,garage,nuenergy.
then i went to a future productions party (enlightenment) boom i found my scratch psycadelic trance.
as a dancer and psycadelic explora/
got very involved making free party's in the arches(Brighton) ovingdeen,warehouses, squats, ash-down forest and finally my own back yard.
had to leave went to India varshish ware i connected with the fins and started the standing wave project making party's in manarli,kesharl,shnarg,varshish,rajestarn,bombay,goa and copang gang.
thought a twist of life went to Israel in 97 and started psycotropiccarmel making hit and run party's in the forest up until 2006 (never busted)/
specialised in trance weddings(only in Israel?)
helped to release new artists like insect sun,dark soho,atain(injection,dna).
inspireing others like ultravoice,star x .
now after a 4 year break ive got new ears (432hz) to break the 440hz demon and bringing some fresh ideas to the scene to help our evolving conciousness
