Anna Kurka’s cover -no, rewrite- of "Let You Down" strips the original track back to its emotional core, with an arrangement that centers around piano, violin, cello, and flute. The instrumental backdrop is delicate and evocative, creating a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere. The piano provides the foundation, while the string instruments—violin and cello—add depth and warmth, enhancing the emotional weight of the song. The flute adds an almost ethereal touch, weaving in and out of the melody to create a hauntingly soft, almost dreamlike feel.

Anna’s voice is the centerpiece, carrying an immense vulnerability throughout the track. Her delivery brings a sense of rawness to the lyrics, emphasizing themes of regret, disappointment, and emotional turmoil. I’ve always been drawn to creativity in all its forms, and over the years, I’ve found a lot of joy in blending different passions. I create machinima in Second Life, using the virtual world as a canvas to tell stories that are personal and often reflect deeper emotions. For me, it’s less about the visuals and more about connecting with the people who watch, letting them feel something real. When I'm not making films, you’ll probably find me writing and recording music. I love experimenting with sounds, mixing indie and electronic styles, and sometimes you’ll hear me cover songs that resonate with me. I also DJ both in Second Life and on Mixcloud, where I get to share music I love and create spaces for people to vibe out or unwind. It’s all about the little moments of connection—whether through a song, a film, or a mix—and I’m grateful for the chance to share those moments with others.

After two CD releases with his own trio on major jazz label ACT in 2008 and 2010, Chris Gall is about to release his first Solo-CD "CHRIS GALL - PIANO SOLO" in January 2015 (GLM Music), counting 13 original compositions for piano plus two cover versions of Claude Debussy and Yann Thiersen. 
In 2015 he will also be doing some extensive touring with ECHO-awarded world music group Quadro Nuevo for their common release "Tango!".
