Israeli producer Nenor delivers a 4-tracker of impeccably produced dancefloor weapons for his second outing on Razor-N-Tape. Since releasing on Moodyman’s legendary Mahogani label a few years back and as part of duo Rabo & Snob, Nenor has been honing his craft in the studio, and now puts his skills on full display on an EP that ranges from the poppy disco house of “How Can I Be Free” to the deep Larry Heard-esque textures of “Do You Remember,” and the gritty underground bangers of  the title track and “Work That.”  He did indeed take his time on this beautifully crafted record, and the result is something quite special.

‘Do You Remember’ now gets a rerub from Tel Aviv’s Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi aka the mighty Red Axes. Warm Italo House chords play with occasional Loons on what could almost be a paradise house cut!

DJ/producer of electronic music, he is above all a multidisciplinary creator and a fervent activist for partying.

Since the launch of the project, he has been part of several collectives as a DJ but also as an artist in the field of public art; or as a stage manager.

It is in 2008 that he knows his first success by being officially one of the winners of the musical springboard "BZH", organized by the French festival Astropolis. 

Then came Montreal in 2012 with the inevitable historical link with disco, its quirks, its winter... The perfect cocktail to dive headfirst into the dark and warm waters of its always effervescent and psychedelic underground. 

Since then, he has performed on respectable stages such as the Envision festival in Costa Rica in 2020 or the Bahidorá Carnival in Mexico in 2019.

Back in France in 2020, he launches his podcast "Church of Night" - A series of mixtapes, with a voodoo flavor; sometimes slow and dub, sometimes hectic and sustained, merging different styles such as cosmic disco, dark disco, tekno with a melancholic italo flavor, new wave, post punk, with dark bass lines and tropical beats.

Laurie first touched the decks in December 2019 when she joined the all-female, all-beginners crew Toutes&Chaos. Since then, she has developed a distinctive ability to create musical journeys whose eclecticism and energy makes the listener feel deep emotions and dance until exhaustion. Barely six months after she started mixing, she was entrusted with playing at peak time on the main stage of a festival. She proved that she was able to thrill the crowd with her sets, and spread her happiness and love of the tracks she plays.

That's why Laurie chose the name of Uzume, the Japanese goddess of dawn dedicated to bringing joy to the world through music and dance 💫
