As a demon, Akaza initially had no memory of his human life as Hakuji. Muzan Kibutsuji erased his memories to ensure Akaza's loyalty and combat effectiveness. However, during his final battle with Tanjiro and Giyu, Akaza's past memories resurfaced, leading to his self-destruction.
 
Here's a more detailed look: 
Initial Amnesia:
When Hakuji was transformed into the demon Akaza, Muzan erased his human memories to make him a more effective and loyal demon. This included his love for his fiancée, Koyuki, and his master, Keizo, as well as his father's teachings.

Resurfaced Memories:
In his final battle, Akaza's memories were triggered by the events and emotions of the fight. He remembered his past as Hakuji, his love for Koyuki, his training with Keizo, and his desire to protect his father.

Internal Conflict:
The revelation of his past brought about a conflict within Akaza. He realized the cruelty of his actions as a demon and the pain he caused, especially to those he had once cherished.

Acceptance of Death:
The knowledge of his past and the regret it brought led Akaza to accept his defeat and ultimately choose to end his own existence.

Last Of The Midnight Rodeo

I lost my brother in 2023 just a few days before Christmas.  I felt in my heart he was in trouble, but didn't know where he was.  Our family was looking for him, and while we were looking he passed away.   It was a shock to us all.  So unreal.  My brother and I grew up four years apart.  So I was protective of him.  We never fought, just loved one another.  We had our differences, but don't we all.  The most important is love and I loved my brother in this world, and I'll love him in the next forever.   Took a lot to write it, but I'm glad I did.  Gone but never ever forgotten.  Song will be on the streaming stores like Spotify and Itunes soon. It’s about learning to understand my emotions, accept how much the world changes, and realizing that sometimes what you love most becomes just a feeling you chase. This is a song I wrote and composed to a large degree, and used AI to sing for me.

I’m mainly a painter, although I can play simple tunes on the Guitar, Ukulele Charango and Keyboards; hence I think of my musical compositions as ‘sound paintings.’ When I’m creating a new piece I try to picture the scene and the emotions in my mind. The descriptions and the uploaded images are there to assist the listener to visualise my musical creation.  My view of any kind of art be it painting, sculpture or music, is that it should leave an impression, whether it is good or bad is up to the individual viewer or listener. The viewer/listener either likes it or not. I always have music playing (sometimes I even dance to the music) while I’m painting, as it keeps me in the mood of that particular artistic piece.  My main musical influences are Jean Michel Jarre, Frank Zappa, Los Calchakis, Tchaikovsky and The Rolling Stones. I also create small sculptural pieces, write poetry and short stories plus occasionally photography. . My artistic influences are Van Gogh, the Fauvists such as Matisse, Derain and Vlaminck, French and Nordic Impressionists namely Monet, Cezanne, Munch, Osslund and Erichsen.  Nolde, Kalella, Klimpt, Hokusai, Hundertwasser and  Wu Guangzong have also had an influence on my work.

I write songs for the haunted, the hopeful, and the ones who still ache. These aren’t tracks—they’re testimonies. If you’ve ever loved and lost, scroll no further.

Rooted in emotional clarity and cinematic depth, I create music not for the charts, but for the moments in between—when silence begs for understanding and melody carries the words we can’t quite say. Every track is written with intention, produced with nuance, and shaped by a relentless pursuit of honesty. No gimmicks, no templates—just songs built to resonate long after the final note.

From timeless orchestral movements to progressive rock textures, I don’t follow trends—I follows truth. And when the world gets loud with noise, my work leans into stillness, offering solace to anyone still listening with both ears and heart.

Grew up on country and pop music. I love singing and songwriting,. I've met and talked with a few of the greats like Dolly and Johnny Cash - something I will treasure always. If I can, in my lifetime, be half as good as they, then I won't have failed. I love all genres of music; especially music and lyrics that grab the heart. I enjoy writing with other songwriters.
