“Queen of Trees” is a re-score of a documentary set in Kenya, exploring the astonishing relationship between a giant fig tree and the tiny fig wasps that depend on it. As the film beautifully states: “One can withstand a river flood, the other can drown in a dew drop.” Through music, this album follows a delicate yet powerful cycle of birth, struggle, sacrifice, and renewal in one of nature’s most intricate partnerships. Each track is a sonic interpretation of this fragile balance that sustains an entire ecosystem.
