The insect kingdom - Rescore

These are a couple of short original pieces from my rescore of “Spring”, a stunning animated short film created by ‪@BlenderStudio‬.

I composed this music as part of ‪@AudioImperia‬’s ‪@learnwithmaestro‬   Modern Composer Blueprint course — a deeply inspiring program that gave me my first hands-on experience with scoring to picture.

My goal with this rescore was to enhance the emotional arc of the story through orchestration and theme, capturing both the wonder and the tension woven into the visuals.

Paul Auxerre - Spring Movie Rescore - Spring Arrives

“Queen of Trees” is a re-score of a documentary set in Kenya, exploring the astonishing relationship between a giant fig tree and the tiny fig wasps that depend on it.
As the film beautifully states: “One can withstand a river flood, the other can drown in a dew drop.”
Through music, this album follows a delicate yet powerful cycle of birth, struggle, sacrifice, and renewal in one of nature’s most intricate partnerships.
Each track is a sonic interpretation of this fragile balance that sustains an entire ecosystem.
