I wrote this track to explore the "liminal" feeling of returning to the spots where we grew up—the dusty arcades, the rusted bridges, and the dead-end streets that still feel like home. It’s a sonic bridge between a hushed folk confession and an anthemic 80s daydream.

Produced at 95 BPM, I wanted the production to mirror that transition from memory to reality. We start with intimate, close-mic'd acoustic guitars to pull you into the dust and the silence, before breaking into a wide, Juno-60 synth-driven chorus that feels like fireworks hitting a night sky. It’s for the people who still see the silver screen in a faded sign and for everyone whose heart is still beating in the dark.
