In this very special 3-part series the Melee Report is unpacking the Venus retrograde through the Sumerian myth of Inanna's descent. This part of the myth correlates with the Venus Cazimi, where we find our hero, Inanna hung on a hook on the wall in the underworld. However, she is rescued and revived through her friends' compassion, her supporters' wisdom, and the empathy of two magical, non-binary beings. Hello my friends and welcome to another exciting edition of your Melee Report!

In this week's episode, we are unpacking the Libra Full Moon and trying to balance the scales between the Aries desire for independence and the Libra need for connection. During this Full Moon, Venus is conjunct Saturn, bringing a sense of responsibility to our relationships and a bit of dedication to the things we love. The Sun will be conjunct Chiron, which may bring up old wounds and past hurts that we have the opportunity to soothe through music and connection. Lastly, Venus will station direct, shifting some of the energy that has been rethinking and revising all things having to do with love, beauty, and values. Now, Venus is beginning to forge ahead and beginning to put some of the lessons he have learned into practice. But you don't need to take my word for it...

For anyone who's ever woken up next to someone they've known for years and thought "who are you today?"—and stayed anyway.

This one's about the love that survives not because you're consistent, but because you keep choosing each other through the changes. When your partner says "you're not who I fell for," and you realize—yeah, and neither are you, and that's not failure, that's growth.

We're not fixed stars. We're planets. Multiple versions of ourselves orbiting at different speeds—your emotional self racing ahead while your thinking catches up, feeling like contradiction when it's really just integration. And sometimes your future self overtakes your past self, and it looks like you're moving backward when you're actually just moving fast.

This is for the couples in their late twenties and early thirties navigating that strange territory where you're both becoming people you haven't met yet, and you have to decide: do we call this broken, or do we call this beautiful?

Astronomical concept inspired by retrograde motion—that phenomenon where planets appear to move backward because they're actually overtaking each other at different orbital speeds. Turns out, it's a perfect metaphor for how we grow, how we change, and how we love through all of it.

We are Los Hubibis — a Canadian–Swiss house duo based in Zurich. Born under a disco ball (and in love), our music is as much about connection as it is about rhythm — a blend of groove and emotion, intimacy and intensity.

Drawing from deep house, indie dance, tech house, and melodic techno, our sound reflects our roots and travels: multicultural, story-driven, and rooted in emotional release. As producers, DJs, and creators of open creative tools for other artists, our work extends beyond music — into designing experiences and building a more inclusive, expressive electronic scene. We believe in breaking down barriers: between genres, between people, and between the dancefloor and the soul.
