Silva Duss - The Way Life Is -Police & Thieves

Silva Duss is on a quest not just to be known as a reggae artist but as a world wide entertainer. Born Shane Vernon hailing from Montego Bay, Jamaica i was drawn into reggae music through artist such as Papa San, Lt. Stitchie, Admiral Bailey just to name a few . As a youth Silva Duss was a member of two of the hottest dance troops in Jamaica, " THE RUFF RIDERS " and the " CURRENT CREW ". After migrating to the United States in nineteen ninty two ( 1992 ) Silva Duss persued modelling, acting and music while in college " Salem State College ". This multitalented individual quickly realized that his strength lies within his music which is his main focus. As a recognized performer in Boston, Massachusetts. news quickly spread up and down the U.S. east coast which led to the collaboration with Louie Rankin a.k.a. Ox from the movie BELLY and SHOTTAS on the hot single BIG TALKA, as well as a solo track WHATEVA, which were both released in two thousand and three ( 2003 ) on the WILD CUBBY MUSIC LABEL. Always moving forward Silva Duss has performed in Miami, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and many other citys throughout the United States. Inside the Boston area Silva Duss has performed at clubs such as Bills Bar , Western Front The Milky Way , Champions Bar an Grille just to name a few. He has graced the stage with artist such as Lexxus, Ghost, Beenie Man, Tonto Metro an Devonte, Zebra, Jr. Kelly, Absolute Logics, Louie Rankin, Don Yute , Lady Lee , Anthony B , Chuck Fenda , Singer J , and Fantan Mojah. Presently Silva Duss has released four new singles entitled B.O.G " bitches ova guns " DA BLOCK featuring J Gomz , Good Day and Big spliff which is taken the local radio stations by storm. In two thousand eight ( 2008 ) Silva Duss became a member of the ( ubm ) UPRIGHT BASEMENT MUSIC family which in turn the GARRISUN FAMALLY was created with a total of 5 members. Flygurlsky from your morning show 102.9 fm says GOOD DAY is one of the best she's heard in along time. Dj Lady Lee from the Lion's Den 105.3 fm says " its a hit ".
