On the Way to Ozora 2022 is a series showcasing artists of OZORA 2022. Finally and again on our way to the much-awaited Ozorian reunion, this first episode featuring the artists we can expect in the Valley in 2022 presents Render. Render is the psytrance project by Ricky Casero, also known as Frequency Less (Psybreaks/ Downtempo). His unique psy style is a mix of passionate body moving fullon, wisely blended with night atmospheres and rolling bass lines. Unexpected combinations of catchy vocals and acid funky sounds make the journey super energetic and fluid for the dancer, without missing the soul and essence of the psytrance self-exploring experience. Slide/Loom is a known Italian producer that plays around the world such as USA, SouthAfrica, Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Israel, India etc... and big festivals like Boom, Modem, Ozora, Hadra (and many more). He also teaches guitar, music theory and psytrance in his studio with some funky/jazz/blues influences, which is what makes his music unique and particular.

Metrix - a purveyor of powerful and heavy psychedelic experiences - kicks you out of your everyday life and shoots you directly into an unprecedented universe of dark matter and sizzling energy. 

Basslines as growling as at archaic times when planets were crashing, leads as heavy as the riffs of a metal guitarist and atmospheres as deep as a monk’s meditative state, promise to turn the dancefloor into a playground of psychedelic madness.

The mind behind Metrix is Kilian Aregger, grown up in a musical family at the bottom of the Swiss Alps. Influenced by his father’s affinity to music and computers, together with Kilian’s own big interest in electronic music, he ended up in front of keyboards, turntables and synthesizers at an early age. After his first attendance at a bigger psytrance festival in Switzerland, his fate was sealed – he wanted to become an electronic music composer. The project Metrix was born.

Always aiming for that unique and powerful sound, he defies people to dance with him through his live sets. Kilian has been a very active member of the psychedelic community since 2014 and is therefore no stranger to the dancefloors around the globe. Though he loves playing in nightclubs and festivals, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of producing tunes. As a pianist and mastering engineer, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. He is also very dedicated to helping newcomers to become better producers.

Virtual Light is a psytrance producer and DJ hailing from the great white North of Canada. He has been slaying dance floors like it was 1999 since 1999 and has toured the world many times over, laying down his signature sound at all the world's top festivals. Being one of the Zero1 label DJs, his style ranges from futuristic twilight to a deep, uplifting, classically psytrance vibe unified by an enigmatic character that defines the Zero1 sound.

Tiago Matos is Unexpected, DJ Slash and one of the members of The Cable Guys, music producer and DJ, degree in Electronic Music and Music Production in E.S.A.R.T, born in 1984 in Azores islands and early expressed a special interest for music. In the end of the 90 ́s after some band experiences in Metal he discover Psytrance, something completely new and very interesting that change is way of see and feel music. In 2001 DJ Slash awakens his interest of djing starting a project which extends from Psytrance to Minimal. In 2004/2005 he stands out for his performances in the rhythms of Tribal House, Progress and Deep sharing the stage with some of the best national and international names such as Luca Ricci, King Bizz, Diego Miranda, Mark Rizzo, Joal & Dj Gas (Atlantic Tribe) among others. In 2006 the production starts, in partnership with Neurotronik arises the Full on project Twisted Trolls. In 2007 already in Lisbon DJ Slash is invited to represent Swing Music Agency. In 2008 after an excellent performance in Green Trippin Camp Festival he is invited to represent Fractal Species Rec. In 2010/11 Slash plays in Concentração Motard Faro Festival in Algarve for over then 35.000 people. In 2012 start to represent Woorpz Rec, in this same year he decided to start a solo live act project called UnXp, a night full on project, mixing good and sharp rhythms with mysterious melodies, counting already with some releases on Woorpz Rec. In the summer of 2012 he gets to play in AfterBoom Festival, Monte Verde Festival and in SummerJump Festival sharing the stage with Eduard Maya for over then 10.000 people. In 2013 DJ Slash is invited to work in Switzerland on a ski station playing on Courage Club every night until 2015. In the summer of 2015 DJ Slash release is first compilation album on Woorpz Rec called Rendez-Vous. In 2016 UnXp decide to change is music for psychedelic full on and also starts a new project with is friend Alex Rodrigues called The Cable Guys. In 2017 both projects were invited to represent Reversible Rec.
