Despite these shocking facts having been exposed 30 years ago, and involving every European Nato government, they remain largely unknown outside of Italy. Desperate to prevent the advance of communism, the Italian state after WW2 adopted a strategy of fuelling tension through violent provocations. These were part of a Europe-wide CIA-run operation which aimed to scare the public away from the communists and to manufacture a demand for tighter security measures by the state. The image above shows a 1964 military parade that was the pretext for stationing large numbers of troops in Rome, but a projected coup was aborted at the last minute.

This is indeed a devastating setback for the long-suffering peoples of Syria and the wider region, but it is by no means the end of their liberation struggle. Despite having been essentially defeated some years ago, jihadi mercenaries backed by the USA and Turkey were left to regroup and rearm in the northwestern province of Idlib. This failure to complete their ejection from Syrian soil has had devastating consequences for the Syrian people, who have already endured so much since the onset of the west’s regime-change war in 2011.

Josef Stalin – hero of the working class

Today’s Trotskyites claim to be the ‘true inheritors’ of VI Lenin, faithful upholders of revolutionary Leninist ideology and of the Bolshevik organising tradition which brought us the world’s first socialist state in 1917. But in reality their organisations and leaders play the role of agent provocateur in the working-class movement, just as Trotsky did throughout his lifetime.

By consistently denigrating and opposing the forces that actually fight imperialism, whether at home or abroad, Trotskyism works to mislead potential revolutionaries and prevent them from making any meaningful contribution to the struggle for socialism. Despite their constant calls for strikes and uprisings ‘now’, no Trotskyist group has ever led a successful movement against capitalism in over a century of revolutionary posturing.

More than that: Trotskyism has actively impeded all such struggles. By re-packaging imperialist lies in ‘Leninist’ phrases, Trotskyists promote ‘analyses’ and slogans that mislead and confuse rather than educating, and they engage in activities that are designed to prevent any advance of the working class.

In Britain today, their practical programme amounts to support for the imperialist Labour party, support for imperialist wars, and implacable hostility toward genuine revolutionaries. A plethora of Trotskyist organisations are funded by the British state and promoted by British corporate media: one of many strategies used by the capitalist class to sabotage the efforts of the workers to rise to the position of ruling class and build a bright socialist future.

He mapped the heavens’ riddles from a codex, worn and sere,
Drew latitude and longitude, the signs became so clear.
He phoned a tiny workshop in a Tokyo alleyway,
“Grind me glass to pierce the dark, we’ll name the prize someday.”
Through lenses cut by foreign hands his legend caught a key—
He hailed the dawn: “Behold the world—Planet General Lee!”
The laurel found his forehead; Stockholm rang his name,
While calloused palms far overseas went nameless in the frame.


Oh Donald Musk, magnanimous soul,
You lift up foes and make them whole.
From ancient charts to factory light—
Your mercy crowns the starry night.



But hush the fiddle, still the drum—
Whose blood became the beating thumb?
Those numbers—9066—were bodies forced to pay,
The island’s roar still echoes what the medals hide away.
The “healers” bled for patents, the Osage left in pain,
And glass that found a planet was cut through fire and stain.
We sang along the headlines, we cheered the shining gloss—
A legend stitched from other hands and loss.


So write it in the family bible, brand it on the hide—
He isn’t what the chorus claims, nor what the banners cried.
Behind the grin, the orbit, and the gold-leaf word “discover,”
He’s not a savior of the land—
just a story’s usurper.
