Sa musique s'inscrit dans la plus pure tradition des morceaux house rythmiques. Les tracks de cet album demo lancent la série des "Raw Takes" sur Motherlode Recordings. Des sons qui saturent, mal enregistrés et à l'état de démo ! Et ça, Barry Johns est très fort dans ce domaine.

Barry Johns is an American musician living in Chicago. He's been composing and recording tracks for years, and posting them on Soundcloud. That's how we discovered him. His music is in the purest tradition of rhythmic house tracks. The tracks on this demo album launch the "Raw Takes" series on Motherlode Recordings. Saturated, poorly recorded, demo tracks! And Barry Johns is very good at that. This is a MGS work in progress, Right now it is just a rhythm track with bass, drums, rhythm guitar*, and keys. I posted it so that someone can download it and add their touch to it. This track is posted as Creative Commons on Freesound.org, and this version retains that licensing so you can do whatever you would like to it. This version is also Mastered, so the quality is a little bit better.
