In September I participated in the second ever Rhythm City Collective livestream, Fully Cooked, and was able to be surrounded by so many artists I look up to and love. The 2025-26 Jepson Leadership Forum presents author and analyst Dean Oliver for his presentation on "The Push for Data-Driven Decisions in Sports." Currently a data scientist at ESPN, Dean pioneered the basketball analytics movement and is the author of Basketball on Paper and Basketball Beyond Paper. He incorporated analytics in his roles in the NBA front offices and as an assistant coach and helped create ESPN's sports analytics group in 2011.

The 2025-26 Jepson Leadership Forum addresses the significance of sports in American life. We will explore sports in the contexts of ethical and effective leadership, cultural significance, the impact of analytics, and recent changes to the guidelines governing college and professional sports. Scott and Richard Lee begun The Lee Brother tradition in 2003 on a small radio station in Richmond, VA.  The two-headed format and “brother banter” quickly gained popularity.  They were on five different radio stations (WLEE, WTOX, WRVA, WNTW, and MOJO50.)  And met the most amazing people, engaged with the best listeners and fans, and debated the great issues of our day.  Then it all changed radically with the passing of Richard Lee in April of 2023.  Scott Lee officially signed off the The Lee Brother program with a heartfelt farewell in January of 2024.   He continues the tradition as an occasional fill in host and podcaster.  He can still be reached at patriots@theleebrothers.com.
