Every track is a chapter in a southern scripture written on car doors and corner blocks, sung by saints in sneakers and angels in candy paint.  The women sing like water; the men preach like thunder.  Together they baptize the streets in bass and honeyed light.

I just did this after a long night on the road. For a beautiful melancholy mood. This song tells me about where I came from and how good it was there with my friends, but now I have a long road ahead of me.
