Voici une reprise de « On that morning » de Robben Ford. Ce titre est issu de l’album « Bringing it back home » sorti en 2013. Cet album, à ce moment-là dans l’œuvre de Robben Ford, est une sorte de retour aux sources : le blues bien sûr, qui est dans l’ADN du guitariste américain ; mais aussi une humeur, disons, « jazzy ». « On that morning » est un blues mineur qui fait la part belle à l’orgue Hammond. Le groupe, sur l’album, comprend également un trombone, une contrebasse et une batterie. L’ambiance est swing. Les demi-tons flingueurs ont enregistré leur reprise de « On that morning » le dimanche 5 février 2023 « à la maison ». Frédéric Ribeiro joue sur une Yamaha Pacifica signature Mike Stern. Daniel Brion joue sur une « Liberty blues », modèle développé par le luthier Christophe Huort dont l’atelier se situe à Parthenay (79). Le duo joue ici sur des amplificateurs à lampes Laney VC15-110.

Jack is a New Jersey and Honolulu based musician who has played the Shore circuit and New York City Clubs since the early 90's. He is known for his unique sound - both vocally & on the guitar. He writes a wide range of music, from stirring ballads to the funky, bluesy music of his band, Rogues on the run. The Rogues are currently playing the Jersey Shore, and have opened for BB King.
