Two hours of some of my favorite tunes from over the years. Live from Clive Barker's fictional, dark, fantastical world of the Nightbreed, aka my house. However, it is recorded live and improvised. 

Some of these tracks are over 20 years old. I always like to point out that Progressive House is a newer term. Back in the day this is what was being played at lot of historic underground clubs. Trance falls into this category as well. It could be considered mainstream by some in it's modern form, and that's not completely wrong. Though, it's only because this music has persevered through decades while retaining it's inner core, growing fans as the years go on. 

   Perpetuity is the real spirit of this music. Most of our idols are still DJing in their 60's right now. True pioneers and dedicated to the craft. And the new blood is carrying that torch too.  There's new twists and by definition the genre is always going forward. It's limitless. To me its the music I've been listening to since high school. Its just tunes to us prog and trance fans. Brandski is a French electronic music producer, DJ, and live performer based in Toulouse. Known for his analog-driven sound, his music resonates with fans of analog textures and driving rhythms, offering a timeless fusion of dancefloor energy and melodic depth. He blends italo disco, electro, and EBM into sharp and cinematic tracks. Trained in classical music, Brandski evolved into electronic production since a decade. His music is powered by instruments like the Roland TR-707, the Yamaha DX-7 or the Korg MS-20.

His regular releases include EP like Paranoia on Division Record label, Optical Signal on Nein and the acclaimed Moonrider LP on Mélopée Records. With this album, he explored a journey through retro-futuristic music, carried by synths, deep grooves, and cosmic melodies. On tracks like “Disco Dance” and “Feather and Silk” he blended nostalgia and innovation.

He regularly performs live or as a DJ in clubs and festivals. This summer, you can catch Brandski on stages in Lyon, Dax, and Toulouse. Don't forget to follow him to stay updated on his upcoming releases and shows.

Premiere: Robert Babicz - Love Is All We Need (Instrumental) [Kelch]

Cenobyte got his start in the Los Angeles club scene in 2012, transitioning from the crowd to interviewing DJ's and reviewing shows in the city under his House of Acid Reviews website. From there he began doing professional artist spotlights across the northeast, working with acts like Norm Talley, 4mplify, Ichisan, and being published with the Eskimo Recordings label. 

Finally making his way into Denver's underground, he immediately found himself working with crews like Sorted, CoClubs, Invisible City, Nocturnal, Gloom, and Mother Earth Sound System. Since then he's hit the decks and has been playing events alongside some of the best talent in the city; from iconic locals to international acts like Daniel Avery. 

The name Cenobyte is inspired from novelist Clive Barker; a man who specializes in peeling back the safe veneer of society and exposing the otherworldly. More importantly, a true ambassador for the things that go bump in the night. The oddly oppressed, and the strange. Whether Cenobyte is weaving through progressive belters, hypnotic blends of techno and house, or curating dark fantastical themes like the novelists he adores, you can always count on a journey through the unknown. A story each it’s own.

I bought my first vinyl records back in the mid-90s. Not long after, I got my two Technics 1210 turntables – and they’re still spinning in my music room to this day.

My passion for electronic music hasn’t faded. I’m always digging for fresh tracks and love bringing new sounds into my DJ sets.
