Two old friends. A sound from a forgotten future. TGÆ is an independent electronic duo, active since the 1980s. Once a year, they meet in the "Musikladen Studio" for their magnetic sessions, from which their songs later emerge. Their music blends electronica, lo-fi pop, post-punk, and experimental soundscapes, always trying to preserve the original "session feeling". TGÆ's lyrics revolve around love, hate, space philosophies, and the longing for universal happiness.Their bittersweet tracks combines deep emotions with a fascination for all things extraterrestrial and the search for a lost universe—or a paradise that may never have existed. In their world, artificial intelligences meet broken hearts, cyborgs evoke childhood memories, and stardust cigarette light tells stories of humanity in transition. Each title is part of a multi-voiced narrative about life in a posthuman world and the search for meaning, connection and renewal.
