Au croisement du souvenir et de l’imaginaire, Les rivages du rêve nous embarquent dans une traversée poétique entre deux continents, entre deux rives du cœur. Inspirée par l’atmosphère brute et sublime de l’Atlantique, cette pièce évoque les espoirs, les tempêtes intérieures et les promesses d’un ailleurs.
Dans la chanson de Greg Wesley Lane, chaque note semble portée par le vent, chaque silence, par la mer.
C’est une ode aux départs, aux racines qu’on emporte, et aux rivages que l’on rêve d’atteindre.

En 2018, le groupe cajun Les Grincheux nous offre un hymne à l’amitié et à la résilience avec “Rise Together”. Entre guitares entraînantes et rythmes qui font vibrer le cœur, cette chanson traverse les rues désertes de nos souvenirs pour nous rappeler que rien n’est jamais fini et que l’avenir se construit ensemble.

🎸 Gas on Fire – TikTokA (Rock Anthem)

“Gas on Fire” by TikTokA erupts like a spark hitting a pool of gasoline—an explosive, adrenaline-drenched rock anthem built for late-night highways, stadium lights, and the kind of chaos that feels almost holy.

The song opens with a low, rumbling bass line, pulsing like a heartbeat trying to stay calm before the madness hits. A distorted guitar riff slowly fades in, bending and growling, as if warming up for a fight. When the drums finally land—heavy, metallic, and unapologetic—they detonate the track into full ignition.

The first verse mixes gritty vocals with industrial synth undertones, reflecting the band’s signature “digital-rock fusion” style. Lyrics paint images of neon-lit cities, burning emotions, and reckless momentum. TikTokA’s lead singer delivers each line like a dare, half-sung, half-snarled:

“Strike the match / Break the wire / Watch me set this gas on fire…”

By the time the pre-chorus hits, the song tightens like a fist. The tension builds with ascending guitar harmonics, creating that breathless moment right before everything blows.

Then the chorus drops, massive and explosive—layered gang vocals, full-throttle guitars, and drums pounding like they’re trying to escape the speakers. “Gas on Fire” is not subtle. It’s a modern rock riot, a soundtrack for rebellion, a burn-everything-down-and-start-again anthem. TikTokA channels the energy of classic hard rock, the digital sheen of modern production, and the emotional volatility of a generation that feels everything at once.

I’m mainly a painter, although I can play simple tunes on the Guitar, Ukulele Charango and Keyboards; hence I think of my musical compositions as ‘sound paintings.’ When I’m creating a new piece I try to picture the scene and the emotions in my mind. The descriptions and the uploaded images are there to assist the listener to visualise my musical creation.  My view of any kind of art be it painting, sculpture or music, is that it should leave an impression, whether it is good or bad is up to the individual viewer or listener. The viewer/listener either likes it or not. I always have music playing (sometimes I even dance to the music) while I’m painting, as it keeps me in the mood of that particular artistic piece.  My main musical influences are Jean Michel Jarre, Frank Zappa, Los Calchakis, Tchaikovsky and The Rolling Stones. I also create small sculptural pieces, write poetry and short stories plus occasionally photography. . My artistic influences are Van Gogh, the Fauvists such as Matisse, Derain and Vlaminck, French and Nordic Impressionists namely Monet, Cezanne, Munch, Osslund and Erichsen.  Nolde, Kalella, Klimpt, Hokusai, Hundertwasser and  Wu Guangzong have also had an influence on my work.
