What Exactly Happened at the Libertarian Party Convention (Radio Rothbard Appearance)

Po szalonych kilku latach inflacji zdążyliśmy już trochę ochłonąć i o niej zapomnieć. Ten spokój nie został nam jednak dany raz na zawsze. Mało jest takich tematów, które dotycząc wąskiej i szczegółowej, merytorycznej materii, zarezerwowanej na co dzień dla specjalistów od bankowości i ekonomii, pojawiałby się w codziennych rozmowach tak często jak temat inflacji. Trudno się dziwić. Nie rozumiemy dokładnie co i jak się stało, a jednak jej skutki boleśnie odczuwamy wszyscy. Mamy jedynie mgliste wyobrażenie przyczynowo skutkowej sekwencji wydarzeń, która doprowadziła do tego, że wielu z nas dzisiaj zarabia i posiada więcej na kontach bankowych, ale w praktyce w zdecydowanej większości ilość dóbr i usług, które możemy nabyć jest niższa. W tym odcinku chciałbym żebyśmy mogli uzbroić się w wiedzę niezbędną do nieco głębszego rozumienia zjawiska, o którym tak dużo dyskutujemy. Jako wyborcy mamy prawo, a nawet obowiązek wymagać od polityków. Nikt za nas nie zbuduje zamożnego, bezpiecznego i stabilnego państwa. Podstawą do odrzucenia rozwiązań intuicyjnych, a wymagania merytorycznych, kompleksowych i skutecznych planów jest nasza wiedza. Dodruk pieniądza, chaos prawny, rozbuchane programy socjalne prowadzące do masowania słupków sondażowych przez polityków, tarcze finansowe w dobie pandemii, wzrost kosztów nośników energii spowodowany przez dekady zaniedbań kolejnych rządów to powody wysokiej inflacji z jaką niedawno mieliśmy do czynienia. Ale był też globalny kryzys gospodarczy, globalna inflacja oraz zerwanie łańcuchów dostaw spowodowany pandemią oraz napięciami geopolitycznymi. Nie na wszystko możemy mieć wpływ. Ważne jest byśmy robili wszystko co możemy i nie dali się zwieść populistom.
